I was walking around town, reading my quran. The street commisioner saw me, and ask me if the City could hire me to walk around with my quran opened and fog for misquitoes.

Would this be a sin of Shirk, if I accepted money?

I mean, if I let smoke blow, I may as well get paid? right?

I am going to college in 3 years for Mythology. The only stuff i know is Greek, and that isnt much. So if you could tell me everything you know about WHATEVER kind of Mythology, i would appriciate it alot. I cant go to anywhere but yahoo, so please dont give me references. Thank you!

Islam means PEACE. Islam means to accept One Allah. Islam teaches rights of people, Love to poor people, rights of women, rights of old people, even it is said that dont say any harsh word to your nobel father and mother, and help them in there old age, because one day you will become one of them. .
Now what is wrong with it.
ACCEPT REAL RELIGION ISLAM with no Comparison to it. OR even study the concept of Islam.

It's almost a fact that humans have evolved from another specie. I have taken several anthropology classes, and have concluded that humans have most defiently evolved. I was grown up very religious and went to church. However, there is too much information not to turn my back on how humans have evolved.

"A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period. On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised. Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification are over. I have heard from so many people that God is " all powerful " and nothing happens unless He allows it. Then he allowed me to be raped ? Then that means it cant be that bad to rape little 12 yr old girls. I think things happen that He cant stop. I think the fact that I didnt know Him and my parents didnt know to teach me to trust Him for safety is the reason for the rape. I think God and Jesus and getting the blame for what satan and sin are the real cause of. I think He cries with me when He saw me suffer and I didnt know to call on Him.

There is a new show debuting on the network named "Winfall". What I can tell a group of friends go in together to purchase lottery tickets(as is common around here), and they hit a monsterously huge jackpot. Where they each have a cut worth at least tens of millions of dollars. Everytime a big cash pay is talked about, there is someone in the group always say "you won't be happy with money like that", or "I would not wantto be that rich" I am no fool. I know money can not buy happiness. But reading questions here, it is apparent happieness is ellusive to most even if not rich. So since you are more likely not to be happy anyhow, why not be unhappy in a home fully paid for, watching your 60 in plasma TV with surround sound, having gotten there by you fully paid Italian sports car? Is it that people who say they would not want money like that simply trying to make themselves feel better because they know they most likely will ever see that type of money?
