Here is mine: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a coke in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I'm not crazy about having hard and fast rules. But here are some ideas.
How about "I'll burn that bridge when I come to it"?
Perhaps "A stitch in time may save nine, but nine stitches is only slightly harder to do than one, so let me put it off."
A lot of people say they live by the golden rule. But I refuse to live by the golden rule -- because there are an awful lot of women out there who would be very upset if I did to them as I want them to do to me.

Yes, Stay far away from people and when near them just go with the flow like a twig on the mighty shoulders of a stream. Unless I disagree then I say swim upstream with the Salmon.
