What is confusing you in Accepting Islam?

Question

Islam means PEACE. Islam means to accept One Allah. Islam teaches rights of people, Love to poor people, rights of women, rights of old people, even it is said that dont say any harsh word to your nobel father and mother, and help them in there old age, because one day you will become one of them. .
Now what is wrong with it.
ACCEPT REAL RELIGION ISLAM with no Comparison to it. OR even study the concept of Islam.

Guess my problem is if that is what it means, how come they have not yet accepted it then.

rights of women ?? what to be uneducated and stay at home with no voice in anything

love the poor, that is why they have so many homeless shelters, hospitals and food programs in Iraq, Iran and Sudan

rights of the people??? to beleive what you teach or be killed, the Afgan man who wanted to convert was a good example of the rights you allow

And of course it would be peace if everyone that did not agree was killed and wiped off the face of the earth.

Peace though fear is no real peace.

Is there a question here? I am Christian but study Islam. I have found that both religions are more alike then different, like both teach about loving and caring about your fellow man, and both have arrogant jerks who yell about how they are right and everyone else in the world is wrong.

Nothing is wrong with it. Nothing is wrong with Christianity either which preaches those same concepts, or Hinduism which reveres the poverty of their monks and respects their old age.

Nothing is wrong with anything like that -- if everything and everyone is teaching you to be a good person, to have good moral value, what's wrong with not subscribing to a religion and living your life that way?

Everything, so I hear. But I don't really know why. I do all of those things and cannot truly call myself anything... but, of course, I am wrong for that.

It's an interesting two way street.

The confusing part is what to wear when strapping a bomb to myself to go blow up the infidels....or whether I should beat my woman and treat her like a dog......or whether I should want to kill all other religions so I can find myself dead surrounded by 70 virgins. Islam teaches rights of people---thats why you are killed if you aren't muslim.

I do accept it for what it is it is a religon like ALL Religons it has it's faults. If anyone tells you they have the answers RUN nobody and I mean nobody can tell you what you need for salvation except yourself. Look for the truth. Seek and ye shall find.
