I believe in God because, well I always have. I never went to church as a child, yet I already knew he was there. I am not a Christian, I am a believer in God, but I do not believe in what the world has created a Christian to be. I believe we all have a greater purpose, and I believe that we don't just turn into Dust when we die.
But that is just me.

These are two COMPLETELY SEPERATE questions. personally i can only answer the first as i am not a christian. i believe in God because that is how i have grown up. i went to a private school from kindergarden through eighth grade. i also went to religious school on saturdays through seventh grade. I still go to temple on some Friday nights and on some Saturday mornings. anyone who grows up learning about something from a certain point of view will probably continue believing that. this does not only apply to religion though. if you grow up believing that jumping in front of a moving car is dangerous and this is enforced then you most likely will not jump in front of a moving car. right? i know pretty much all of the stories in the Torah and i believe them to some extent. for the stories i don’t believe literally happened i realize that there is a moral in it that we are supposed to learn. i believe that God does exist and I believe that God knows what will happen and the story of creation (for those who don’t believe in God the big bang theory does sound reasonable).

I believe in God because its kinda hard to ignore.
Examine the universe, this planet or the human body and one is awed by the intricate balance.
This is by accident?
I think not.
I'm a Christian because its hard to ignore Jesus made such good sense.
Even Mahatma Ghandi (a Hindu) said when the world gets together and follows the advice found in the Sermon on the Mount
we will have settled all our problems.
That's a huge compliment to Jesus Christ.
Not blindly, but I'll follow that.

i believe in God because i just do. i believe that life is better with God in my life than just me. i feel better and are happy. i know sometimes i do go a stray sometimes but i always end up coming back to him. it is like once you get saved and become a christian he will never really let you get to far from him. when i have stuff on my mind i pray about and sometimes he answers them and sometimes it takes longer for him to give an answer. i think people should at least believe in something.

I wasn't always a Christian.
I used to question the same things about people.
But once I asked Jesus into my life, and into my heart. Once I asked for forgiveness.... I understood.
The Bible became alive with meaning.
My faith grew, and was strong.
I am a Christian because I know that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. He died on the cross for my sins. He rose from the dead. I know this not because I've seen some vision or some magical event. I know this because of the power and truth of the Word of God. I know this in my heart.

I am a Christian because I know that Jesus, the Son of God, (or God in human form) died on the cross to save me from my sins. I know that God exists because I have faith in him. The Bible has never been disproven....in fact, science does more to back up the Bible than it does to refute it. Science is man's way of explaining what God has done in the world. Anyone who wants to challenge this can go ahead, but will never be successful.

I believe in Him becasue he gave me a reason to continue living. I kept thinking...there has to more to life than just trying to get by and not being happy. You know, looking for that temporary high. I felt empty. I was just so amazed that he loved me...someone like me. I'm nothing special and I'm constantly making mistakes...but still he loves me. He has given me family and friends who believe like I do. I am so grateful that He's come into my life. Now, I'm not saying my life is perfect but when I'm at my wit's end I just get on my knees and he's there for me. Of course, I still have disappointments and failures but whatever I go through, he's right there with me.

Because Logic dictates that there is a prime mover. Did you know that the Bible is the only holy book that can be proven archeaologically speaking. Read the Bible in History and tell me there isn't any God!!!!!!

Yes, I believe in God because He changed my life, I feel His presence over my life. I am a Christian because I am one of Jesus's followers.:)

people believe in god because there has to be someone who made this earth u, me, and others around u. someone has to be there and the person we think that made all this we say is "God". god is the Creator of everything. so that is why i believe in god
