I have heard from so many people that God is " all powerful " and nothing happens unless He allows it. Then he allowed me to be raped ? Then that means it cant be that bad to rape little 12 yr old girls. I think things happen that He cant stop. I think the fact that I didnt know Him and my parents didnt know to teach me to trust Him for safety is the reason for the rape. I think God and Jesus and getting the blame for what satan and sin are the real cause of. I think He cries with me when He saw me suffer and I didnt know to call on Him.

First of all, I am truly sorry this happened to you. You did not deserve this - in no way is this your fault at all, and God did not wish it for you. God does cry with you, and I think you are right to think that. In the Bible, the shortest verse is, "Jesus wept."

Suffering is a mystery - there are no two ways about it. Like the Pope said the other day when speaking of the Holocaust, "In the end, there can only be a dread silence - a silence which is itself a heartfelt cry to God; why, Lord, did You remain silent? How could You tolerate all this?"

The Bible's most profound meditations on this are in the Book of Job. As Job continues to suffer, his friends tell him he must be suffering because he has sinned. God rebukes them for this, and instead answers Job's blinking incomprehension with, "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding?" In the dialogue that follows, he basically tells Job - 'look, don't rationalize this; don't even try to rationalize it, for you know nothing. Instead trust in me, for only I know everything.'

Our response to God in our dialogue with him really in the end has to be humility. Why are we suffering? We'll probably never really know until we know fully and are fully known. Only know this - injustice, suffering - it will all end.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, (for) the old order has passed away." (Revelation 21:4)

A brave girl I once knew said, "Pray until something happens." (P.U.S.H.) Give it over to God. It may take time, it may take a route you do not yet know, but he has healing for you. He has always had healing for you, and it is yours, whom he will give it to as tenderly as an infant. It may not come when you expect, or in the way you expect, but trust in Him, and it will come.

God bless you, and you have my prayers.

There's a very small verse in the bible, but one of the most powerful, it says "Jesus wept." I'm sure He did weep, I think he weeps every day at the things that go on in this world.

God does not cause evil to happen, He gave us free will. Unfortunately, some of us use our free will to do evil. He does not interfere with our free will because that would basically make it null and void.

I'm so sorry you suffered thru such an awful thing at such an early age, but you need to understand that God didn't do this to you. He didn't interfere, but He didn't do it. Perhaps there is a reason we just don't know yet. Maybe, because of this pain you've suffered, your life will be changed and you will in turn change the lives of others. See, we don't see the big picture, all we see is the here and now, God sees that big picture.

Remember, when you need Him, call on Him. He may not save you from the abuse, but He will save you emotionally and He can heal those horrible emotional scars you must have.

God bless you.

I was raped also. God didn't allow it to happen to me. I don't have a true understanding of it but I know it's not my fault and not God's fault. God did save us by giving us life. We could of been killed or die from a disease from the rapist. People who don't really believe or have knowledge about God doesn't to me justify a rape happening. It's sin and sinners in this Earth. Don't blame ur self or parents for what u don't or do believe in. The bible says it rains on the just and unjust. If a believer were raped they would think or not think the same way. You said it best at the end of ur sentence. A real awakening is a true path to healing.

I am thankful that you recognized it as rape, my daughter at 12 had the same thing happen to her, I could only love her and pray for her. You truly feel as though you've lost your innocense. But, the Lord, just as sure as I am sitting here, knows what went on and I would not be in the ones moccasins. God knows how to take care of predators! I agree with you that satan and the power of sin cause the darkness in this world. But believe me whatever he does for your harm, the Lord always turns in around for your good and His glory. He does care for you and He knows you like a book! You are definitely his child, elsewise this wouldn't have happened. Jesus said the world hated him, and it will hate us as well. I myself have suffered untold miseries, but am on the other side of them and it does make one stronger. You just keep walking little one and I know He will make your feet strong and steady, you will come out of this as though it never happened. His healing is so through and His forgiveness is so complete, and His mercy is everlasting.

That is a good explaination that you already have given yourself. However, God allows certain things because there is something we need to learn from the experience. I don't know what to tell you. I'm not a Doctor, nor am I a Priest. But I have been threw a lot off bull also, and I know that it is supposed to make me into the person I am today. It will help you become who you are meant to be, no matter how much it sucks today.

God is certainly all powerful. But you cannot blame him for what is happening to you. The Bible clearly states that "we know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one." 1 John 5:19 Hence, the world is lying under Satan's rulership. But God will certainly give you the wisdom and strength to be strong. Just pray and he will take care of you. The Bible says "while YOU throw all YOUR anxiety upon him, because he cares for YOU" 1 Peter 5:7 He cares for you!

A philosopher said that God can only be two out the three: "All Powerful" "All Knowing" or "All Loving". If God was all three things there would be no suffering. And I am really sorry for what happened.

Sweetie, its okay, you will get to know God. For all you know, this horrible thing that happened could be the start of you getting to know him. Maybe as an adult, you will become a rape counselor and help girls that would not have made it through, girls that are not as stong as you. I am so sorry you went through that but you will be okay. Trust me. I will be praying that you heal from this

I am really sorry to hear what happened to you. You do seem to have a good outlook and God is saddened when he sees people go through suffering and hurt. There are things that God allows us to go through. Some experiences are extremely painful and we may never know why we went through them. One day you can ask God. Sometimes we find out later on in life why we went through the suffering we did.

In Genesis, Joseph was sold by his brothers into slavery. When he sees his brothers later on in life, they feel guilty. Joseph's answer to them was that though his brothers wanted to harm him, God intended it for good. Because Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt, he helped save many people's lives including his brother's when a huge famine occurred.

In 2 Corinthians, it says that we go through experiences so that we can help others who go through similar experiences. Jesus was tempted in the desert by Satan and each time He rejected the temptation. What is good about that is that when we are tempted to do something and we try to turn away and ask Jesus to help us, He understands exactly what we are going through.

I'm not taking the fact away that you were raped, but we have all been through difficult times and it's part of living in this world. God wants you to turn to him for faith. He will make things better. I am living proof. I have been abused inside and out, I lost my mother , grandmother and uncle in a tragic car accident and if it was not for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I would not be standing here today. I will pray for you and please turn to him for all your problems. God bless you.
