Lioness in zoo kills man who invoked God Mon Jun 5, 8:31 AM ET
A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.
"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.
"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."
The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo was packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks.
Ok, maybe it's just funny.

NO!!! It proves that God does not like to be tested
Deuteronomy 6:16
Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God
Matthew 4:7, Luke 4:12
Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God
Luke 4:2-12
2 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry
3The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."
4 Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written,'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'"
5 The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 The devil said to him, "I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want.
7 If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours."
8 Jesus answered him, "Get behind me Satan! For it is written,'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"
9 He led him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here,
10 for it is written,'He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;'
11 and,'On their hands they will bear you up, lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.'"
12 Jesus answering, said to him, "It has been said,'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'"

If he would have truly believed in God then it may have ended differently. The fact that he added "If he exist" just blows my mind.I read that story and then I read one about another guy that jumps into a rhino pen because he is depressed about not getting a job. Really people need to leave the animals out of their pathetic BS. My son wants me to add that maybe the lion had its prayers answered. After sitting in a small enclosure all day staring out at the walking dinner.

First, this is not funny.
Second, no, this is not proof that God doesn't exist. I doubt that the man was a devout Christian. He may have just been stupid. Or perhaps it was the man's time and God wanted him in Heaven. Everything happens for a reason. I don't know the reasons, but there is one for it all. Besides, I think this man was mixed up about God. If the man was a Christian, God already DID save him. That's where I think the man was mixed up.
Why would you look for proof that God doesn't exist? It's a waste of time. He does exist. Really. Questioning His reality, waste of time.

It just proves that the man was foolish. God
God will protect His people from danger when there is a dangerous situation that we are not aware of until it happens. God will NOT protect people who intentionally put themselves into a dangerous situation. That is why Jesus refused to jump off of the temple when Satan tempted Him.
I am living proof; I should have been dead years ago. I guess that makes me proof that God does exist.

In the bible, when Daniel went into the Lion's Den, God told him he would protect him and Daniel never questioned him, and he survived.
This guy might of just jumped down there because he was high or something. Plus, one of God's Commandments " Thou shalt not tempt the Lord"

If I say "If there's a God, He'll give me a million dollars today." and he doesn't, does that mean there is no God?
The problem is to create a logical proof one would have to first prove that what was SAID was true, and in order to do that, one would first have to find out if God was real or not...OR find out that a real God would have saved him.

Trying to prove god/no god is a colossal waste of time...why are you wasting both your and my time. Whether or not a god exists is solely a matter of faith. There is no way to prove either way. Why do people continually try? Totally stupid to even think about it.

It is funny. Perhaps it's proof of an anti-god; some thing that keeps an ear peeled for outrageous statements like that and loves to call their bluff.
