I think that it is stupid. They say that that the devil is going to come and that bad things are meant to happen. i've had a reasonably good day.

I think it is stupid too. The only thing that I think is cool is the date is 6-6-06 and I will think 7-7-07 is just as cool. I don't think the devil or whatever will come. Its just like Halloween, people make something out of nothing. But whatever, let people think what they want.

The director wanted to tell us what he's understood of Armageddon out of what the bible has said. Apparently,for him and everyone else with the same thought from almost 1000 years ago, it is near. The number 666 is the number of Satan and no one really knows what it represents in this world (most of them reffering it to Date time).
And for your information, the signs of the armageddon as described in the Holy Bible are (most part of it) the same as those in the other Holy books (like Al Qur'an, etc or even book of Nostradamus).
In this case, disasters that have struck many nations on earth.
The very last sign of armageddon happen to be the reborn of the devil (anti-christ) called Dajjal.
Well, personally, I think this is how they maintain us under control.
You know who Im reffering to as 'they'.
In the movie, I dont really feel it. I have heard that the old version of the movie "Omen" were more frightening =P

It is mere superstition, even more so if you think of the fact that dates have been established by humanity. Different cultures established different system of dating, see China, for example, only it is almost entirely globalised today, as everything else is. Why something created by humanity as arbitrarily as dating should have anything to do with superhuman powers?
I think, to some extent, you get what you believe in.

Honestly, why give views and opinions to closed minded children. You, none of you, really know what could happen on 666... even though the day may seem fine... a new diease could be emerging from the depths, a murderous child could be born on this day, a new weapon of mass destruction could have been invented in a rival country and none of us will know it til it is too late... The Beast has ways of screwing with us, all of us. We shouldn't mock Him or His power. We don't know what He may be capible of...
