I tried speaking in gibberish like I hear people speak in tongues, and it seems impossible. So, it doesn't seem like a person could trick themselves into thinking they speak in tongues when it's just gibberish? Any thoughts?

in every show or cartoon you see on tv or in the movies jesus or god is white.

in the bible it clearly states that his hair was like sheep wool and feet was f'd up.

some believe the juesus was a jew. i ask why? it was never in the bible what religion he was, i just said " i am a uprite man"

sheep wool is rough like a black mans hair, and we all got bad feet......lol

who really believes in all that crap that 6-6-06 is the end of the world. I am a christian and i believe that the end is near, but really 6-6-06 that's really kinda stupid because that's kinda like saying that it's the devils day like saying the lord is scared of what satan might do. any one else have any thoughts?

I stayed in a hotel the other night and it said Adam and Steve in the Bible that had been placed there by the Gideons. The "St" was written in blue ink, but i think god did that so we would know it was important, kind of like how the red words highlight the dirty parts. This proves that it was Adam and Steve, because it was written in the Bible. Y'all don't feel so smart for calling homosexuality a sin, now, do ya?

Considerations of common decency and the total penis-headedness of protesting at a funerals aside for the moment, the philosophy behind these protests got me thinking. They claim that soldiers are dying in Iraq because of US "tolerance" of homosexuality, and not because they are fighting in a war. I realize the peerless Rev. Phelps by no means represents the majority of Christians (or, rather, his methods don't), but he does provide a good, if extreme, example of a phemomenon that seems to pervade religious communities.
My question is this: Why do you think certain people cling so desperately to ideology that places accountability and morality and definitions of "bad" and "good" outside themselves? Or: Why do ideas of "right" and "wrong" need to come from some Other Outside Force and not us or the world we live in?

in science class they teach you about the dominate and resisive jeans. two dominate jeans can create a resisive jean, but two resisive jeans can not create dominate jean. For example, a darker rose can create a lighter rose, but a lighter rose can not create a darker rose. do you get were im comin from? im not a racist, just let me know your thoughts.

Have you ever experienced a series of disappointments from people? Did you change your perspective of the world because of it or were you able to put it all in perspective? I normally can put it in perspective and take each case individually, but then sometimes people all disappoint at once and I want to throw them in the trash! Does anyone relate? I still like you, though, and won't be disappointed by your answers! :)
