Terra form is right! Mitochondrial DNA proves there was an Eve. Probably a survivor from a great calamity. Anyway she was traced to Kenya Africa or there abouts which means she was black. Aborigines from Australia and the negrito's in the Philippines are very ancient people's and you see they are as black as Sub-Saharan Africans. I also know the story of Shem, Ham, and Japeth. Notice how Ham was supposedly black and he is the one who angered Noah and was cursed. Nobody wants to give blacks credit for anything but the bad stuff.

1. Where in the Bible does it specifically say that Adam and Eve were white? Because I haven't seen the passage where it says specifically that they were white, I belive that they could have been anything.
2. There's also this belief that either Adam and Eve or one of their descendants had five sons. Each of which gave rise to the five races we can see today. These sons were believed to have spread out around the world and I guess their skin colour is the result of their environment.
3.If you want to see this from a genetic perspective. Here's my theory. If Adam and Eve were white, black people may have had to produce more skin pigments in order to protect themselves from the negative effects of the Sun (considering they were in the part of the Earth that is most 'attacked' by the sun rays. As a result this property of skin colour was passed on in order to protect the offspring from the 'burning' rays.

ok man first off adam and eve was a story as everything else is in the bible. the reason you cannot make sense out of it is because the bible is nonsense.
your understanding of dominant and recesive genes is totally wrong and that has nothing to do with the differences between white and black people. i guess i will correct your gene misunderstanding first. dominant genes are the stronger more assertive variation of a particular gene, if a dominant gene is paired with a recessive gene the dominant trait will be expressed and the recessive will not be expressed. if two recessive forms of the same gene are present then the recessive trait will be expressed.
ok now the difference between white and black people. we are adapted for different climates. dark people for equatorial climates which receive more direct sunlight which is why they have dark skin to protect them from the uv rays. there is also a tendency to have large sinus cavities to help cool the brain in these warm tropical climates.
whit people have light skin because they are adapted to live in colder climates which recieve less direct sunlight, the sunlight is important because humans use the energy from sunlight to make vitamin D and in colder climates the skin had to loose pigment in order to get enough energy from the sun to procuce enough vitamin D which is used in the making of bone. and we have smaller noses and sinus cavities so that we conserve our body heat in the colder climates.

I don't know all the details but I seem to remember learning in Sunday school class something to the sorts of the Tower of Babylon being built to see God. God warned them to not to this and they disobyed so God created different races of people with foreign languages so that not everyone could communicate with one another therefore the tower was not completed. Once again I'm not 100% sure on that story it's just what I recall learning.

when adam and eve sinned, they created the evil, and the devil. the bible mainly focuses on white people, so this is not written in the bible, but black people were eventually created by the devil. black people came to this world unnoticed by anyone, and it was all white people's fault, because they sinned.
hah, just playin. just so you know im not a racist either, im not makin fun of black people, im makin fun of christianity.

Did the Bible really say they were white?
My jeans fit my white butt, just like they fit my friends butts. They all look good! We are people in a world that GOD gave us!
The Genes of this world are also created by GOD!
Please go back to Sunday School!

I think the Adam and Eve story is a metaphore, is merely symbolic about how humanity lost the innocence.

Modern DNA evidence indicates the first man and woman (i.e. Adam and Eve) came from middle to northern Africa. So they would have been either "black" or "brown".

You "SEE" physical evidence of the various races, (actually, species), of man, don't you? Do you see any physical evidence of mankind beginning from only two people? Other than in a "story", that is? How could only two people spawn humanoids with so many vast differences?

where did you find that adam and eve are whites. there are no information about there race in the bible. but i guess the ancient
israelites(who were middle-eastern caucasoids) who had the old testament text loved to think adam and eve as being their same race.
