Because the Universe has a beginning and possibly an end. God is the beginning and the end. A beginning is a characteristic of the Universe, kind of like I have an arm but that is not what I am. In the BIble it states that God is the beginning and the end and doesn't distinguish God as having the characteristic but being that instead.

God created the heavens and the earth. God has been here always. The Bible didn't give a time when it said that God created the universe and the earth. Matter of fact, that's so petty, I'd rather you be concerned about your soul that something like that. The universe can't save you but Jesus can if you believe that HE is Your Lord and Savior who died for the cleansing of your sins.

Because those who believe in God and the Bible, know that in the Bible, in the Book of Genesis (which means "the beginning") it says:
Gen 1:-17
God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.

If people INSIST on believing in god, tell them that creator and creation are the same thing or that the birth at the Big Bang was the emptying (destruction) of the god. God's brain blew up and we call it now.

i do say that as a possibility. however we actually seek answers to these important questions therefore some of us are trying to find the answer. and when we stoop down to their low intellectual level we are no better than they are. the poor ignorant fools.
