Why do people automatically assume if you dress gothic that you don't belive in god and are evil?

Just wondering why people are so stereotypical of this group.

because people say that the darkness represent bad and evil and people judge people on that. some people jus like black but that dont mean they evil. thats why we are not suppose to judge. the bible tells us not to judge, cause they misjudge people.
