Jesus didn't come back to earth, Jehovahs' Messianic Kingdom was established and Jesus was enthroned as king in heaven 1914. In Matthew 24:5-7Jesus told his disciples the signs to look for as to his presence. He said "many will come on the basis of my name, saying I am the Christ, and will mislead many. You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars, nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another." In late 1980 the Food and Agriculture Organization estimated that 450 million people were hungry to the point of starvation, and up to a billion did not have enough food to eat. Of these, some 40 million a year actually die, in some years as many as 50 million because of the shortage of food. Revelation 6:4 foretold 'peace was taken away from the earth.' 1914 fulfilled that prophecy with the start of WWI. WWII was fought from 1939-1945, according to Admiral Gene La Rocque, as of 1982 there had been another 270 wars since 1945. Upwards of 100 million person were slaughtered in warfare during this century. According to the 1982 edition of World Military and Social Expenditures, there were in that year 100 million people engaged directly or indirectly in military service. According to data from the National Geophysical Data Center in Boulder, Colorado, suplemented by a number of standard reference works a tabulation was made in 1984 that included only earthquakes that measured 7.5 or more, or that resulted in destruction of five million dollars(US) or more in property, or that caused 100 or more deaths. It was calculated that there had been 856 of such earthquakes during the 2,000 years before 1914. The same tabulation showed that in just 69 years following 1914 there were 605 of such earthquakes. So in comparison with the previous 2,000 years, the average per year has been 20 times as great since 1914.

Jehovah's Witnesses do NOT believe that Jesus returned to earth in 1924. They believe that Jesus is in heaven, where he has been since being resurrected three days after his impalement.
Jehovah's Witnesses *DO* believe that Jesus sat on his heavenly throne and threw Satan and his demons down to the vicinity of the earth in 1914. Students of history may recognize that year as the beginning of World War 1 and of a period of particular woe for mankind.
(Revelation 12:9-12) So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. ...Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

i am afraid you understand incorrectly....
According to the prophecy in Daniel, the bible chronology shows the year 1914 is when Jesus returned in Kingdom power...he is ruling in heaven right now. From, heaven he is directing the affairs of his faithful followers on earth.
Soon, he will give attention to all of mankind and rid the earth of Satan and all evil elements. There is much more I could say, but that is the most direct answer to your question..thanks for asking :-)

They believe he is at the right side of God-like the Bible says he would be. They believe Satan has been cast down-the reason for increase in Earth's woes. In time -he will judge on earth-the time no one knows except the Father.
So like many others-he is in heaven. Like many others the day will come.
So you want to pick on Jews next-than Mormons. What will you do when you run out of religions?

You do have to hand one thing to the Jehovah's Witnesses. They don't pay their preachers to stand up in front of them and lie like other denominations do. Their preachers actually have to work for their living. (Baptists, etc. - take note!)
