It is not a real claim with support, it is more like them claiming that Allah, meaning the Islamic faith, is evil. It is yet another attempt by intolerant and ignorant christians (not talking about most christians, just the stupid ones) to bring down other religions. Allah is not Satan, it's just a way to make Islams seem like evil and bloodthirtsy barbarians when it's the ignorant christians who are barbaric.

I find that funny as well, considering both christianity and islam came from the same place and originally had similar teachings (until, like everything, people just took out the bits of the bible they didn't like and started to come up with their own interpretation losing the original meaning).

Also, Xpert__ those following islamic teachings didn't change the bible turning it towards evil. Some islamics still follow the original teachings, which say nothing about harming others. It was simply through interpretation that we now have extremists acting on what they believe was the real meaning of the original writings.

south korean, there is no need to start verbally bashing those who you feel are "making fun" of Christians. I suggest you do some more research on Christianity and Islam because there are more similarities than you are apparently aware of. I believe the bible (and I'm not religious, so I may be wrong) teaches tolerance, and you are clearly demonstrating religious intolerance by saying that your religion has rules and morals, where others don't.

There is no proof to the claim that Allah is satan, simply ignorance breeding hatered.

I am a Christian and I have never heard that! Has anyone ever thought that all major religions are worshipping the same God, we just have different interpretations? We all have different languages, don't we? The only way to find out, I guess, is to die. I think Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc. are all supposed to be loving and tolerant of others. Is this not the true message of God or Allah? Oh, what a different world we would have if we all could love everyone else. Sadly, I have a hard time even imagining such a world. Peace to you.

Based on my own beliefs, I would say that a true Christian believes in Jesus as our Lord and savior. There are no others, and there is to be no idolotry; meaning....no worship of 'idols' besides our Lord Jesus. To do such is a sin. To continue to do so during the course of one's life and to die is to be cast into hell.

That which makes this person idolize anything other than Jesus, while knowing of the bible and Jesus and His works and Word is a person under the influence of evil. Satan is the great deceiver.......therefore Satan is probably given this unsavory connection between him and allah for this reason.

Proof?

People always want proof.........proof comes from faith.

The bible says that the claim of Jesus not being the son of God comes from the devil. So if the core belief that Jesus was only a prophet and not the son of God comes from "ALLAH", then logically they would conclude that allah is satan. Kind of like a wolf in sheeps clothing.

people who say that are retarded.
I'm christian and I do not think that allah is satan.
I have a friend who is muslim. I'm totally cool with the religon. Allah is part of the religon.
Allah is not satan so anyone who says that needs some help. And they need a life as well.

From my humble understandings...

Muhammed was to have wrote the Koran (Quaran) with the actual guidance of Michael (the archangel). There is a passage in the bible prophecy about one coming later to deceive and included an angel in the prophecy. Don't know the exactness of it though.

Also, in order to understand what Muhammed wrote you need to read the Tabari and Isaaq. They are two biographies wrote after Muhammed about his life and his writings (Koran). Those writings are very similar in what they say - and they conclude that Muhammed was possessed by demons when he was writing the Koran.

Which is why some deny the two biographies. But, they are needed to provide a context for the Koran - else you can't make any sense of it. And, because without those two the world is silent for eight generations (800 years) about Islaam and Muhammed.

Never heard that one before. I think Allah is just another name for God. The truth is, Allah is literally translated (from Arabic) as The God. Muslims, however, don't believe in the same God as Christians do, so that might be where they got that idea from.

Even the Bible used the word Allah for the word God in the Arabic versions of the Bible.
