I can't see the use of word Holy with the word Quran.
From the parts I've read, it's nothing more than a military marching order. That is based on what I read. I'm sure there is more to it but as long as it says to kill Christians and Jews, it can't be a good book. Written about 500 years after the HOLY Bible and including stories and people from the Bible, it must have been written because of and out of the HOLY Bible.

There is no aya that applies in the Holy Quran. And as to the other answers with Islam being the second largest religion in the world with 1.3 billion believers, Christianity is not that far ahead with 2.1 billion. Islam is also the fastest growing religion. Maybe some Christians should check out the full truth given by God and not just what the Media and the church are telling them.

nothing is called ayat el badri
BUt about the quran holliness , me and 1300 million people around the world can see that it is holly and not a military book
maybe the military as part of religion is the system of God , note the religion of the jewish , it orders it's followers to kill everybody else , it gave them aland where it has residents before them (the palastinians) and orderd them to enter it by force , am i right ? what was king prophit soliman doing ? was he so peacefull , or had army and fight everywhere ? what was the crusador wars ? didnt crusadors came to muslim lands and killed every living soul in jerusalem , by the order and name of God , and the approve and bless of the pope and priests ????
islam is a part of all that , the last part , i'm muslim and really asking myself , why God wanted it to go that way ? the question is about God himself , and his holy regime , not about only islam ......
