1: Jesus was not a Jew, he was a Muslim. so was a Muslim, just like any other prophet.
2: there is no proof that Jesus was white and blue- eyed and i think that it is wrong and disrespectful for people to draw a picture of Jesus, even though, he was a prophet

Just because someone has hair liek "sheep's wool" doesn't necessarily mean that he's black. It just means that he had curly hair! Also, he was from the middle east, so he was semitic in origin (read Arabic or Judean). Being a Jew means a belief in a religion, being Jedean means a person from that area of ancient Judea.

Well, you can blame the artisan Grand Masters of the Renaissance for that one: the Michelangelos, the da Vincis, the Raphaels, the Rembrandts, the Boticellis, etc.
For some reason they painted and sculpted everyone to look more ITALIAN [or Greco/Roman] than anything else. Besides, by then, all the model Jews were in hiding places elsewhere...
Hahaha!

Jesus was definitely not the Aryan white man that some people think he was. He was a middle eastern man, and I don't know many born and raised middle easterns who look Norwegian.
Jesus was, in fact, Jewish. He was raised in a Jewish family. The Bible does not need to state everything plain as day, some things are a given.

Technically, if you look at the Bible historically, Jesus would technically have been arab. We know this because of the setting (rivers, places, etc.) and it would lead us to believe him being from the middle east. However, I am not sure why Jesus and God are portrayed as white. I assume it is because at one point in time there was discrimination against blacks, and it would have been logical to show them as white. Now, it is probably just traditional/standard and people have not bothered to change. But, have you ever seen that movie "Bruce Almighty"???In that movie, God is black.

Back in the day, the white man was the right man. Blacks and even people that have dark tans were considered sub-human. Jesus was a jew. Yes his hair was like wool, but he was not a black man. He was arab.

Cause people like to believe that Jesus is the same ethnicity as them. And Jesus was born a Jew and raised a Jew so the Christan religion didn't come until after his death. And Jesus wasn't black or white, he was from the middle east SO he was like in between.

Jesus was Hebrew and I'm not sure what color skin Hebrew people have. But you know, almost everyone in Jesus' time seemed to have really tan skin because they were out in the sun all the time. Jesus was probably out in the sun more than he was inside. So he could have been more brown than white. And no one has "white" skin. The lightest is cream colored.

because when christianity became really popular, the people who worshipped it were white so they made him white because they were flattering themselves. and it was a time when the main worshippers thought all people that weren't white were evil satan lovers who wanted to kill everything, so they couldn't make jesus anything else.
but I am tired of the whole what race is jesus argument, because it only seperates us more. if we ever find out, it will result in people once again flattering themselves with the whole "I look like jesus" thing. So it shouldn't be that important, because it encourages dividing people into races.

Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, which were Jews, therefore, his physical characteristics had to be Jewish also. The most important thing is that in heaven he will be neither Jew nor Gentile, or Caucasian or African American. He will be God and we shall be his people.

Jesus wasn't white, but when white people made the movies, they assumed He looked like them. I believe He was Arabic or African.
He probably was Jewish, because of the story where He was in Jerusalem for Passover, as a boy.
