I can't stand it when people are racist just because they think a certain ethnic group behaves in a certain manner without taking the time to get to know someone on an individual basis. But sometimes they just dislike other people without even knowing why do they do! They just simply do because they don't look like them! that close-mindedness is so frustrating :(

I am 16 n my next door neighbour who I grew up with has strict, boring parents that don't give him much freedom and an annoying little brother and sister. He is short n stubby and not very fit-looking, and has a slightly pockmarked, freckly face, with a mole or two (also doesn't have a job). I have parents who give me an appropriate freedom and I go to parties all the time and regularly pickup, I am tall and a bit skinny, but perfectly happy with how I look. But lately he has gone two a couple of parties with some of his friends n recently had his first kiss (at 16 years!!) with some girl I have never even heard of, but people say she is "okay" looking. Whenever I hear that he has gone to partys I feel jealous n when I found out about this girl I was really angry and felt bitter towards him. The night I found out about the girl i was at my house with two girls Sam n Hannah who are like the most wanted girls in school n I was kissing one of em all that night. Why do I feel SO jealous?

Be morbidly overweight (and never be able to lose the weight), have one arm, ugly, or blind and why? This is a serious question. Please seem to have a general bias towards overweight people and I'd like to know what people would honestly prefer and why?

Why are we blamed for forgetting things when we have tried our best to remember?

It is no good assuming that people have not tried to remember because you cannot prove that, and everyone has a right to fair trail and so we have to prove it.

Have you ever had your teacher moan because you forgot to get your PE kit?
You tried to remember, but saying this to the teacher just doesn't cut it.

Tell me how a teacher can be right dispite this? and why.

This is something that I have been trying to figure out for ages. I really need an honest answer. Is it because they want to take out thier frustration on the kids or something else?

I would like a very indepth and conscise or scientific answer.

What are some things you did as a kid that your kids either do not have as an opportunity or do not feel inclined to do anymore because of safety reasons or just a change in society.

Alright, first of all, I'm looking for a job that has to do with studying people. Not they're insides or anything, just they're mental reactions to certain events you know? Don't want to be a psychologist or a school counsoler. Anything in between?

--and I'm not looking for any life stories here, just some job titles and job descriptions.

I'm a guy and I'll admit some of it is informative and entertaining.

However,

One story includes an older woman steps over a mirror, and sees her vagina for the first time. She then goes on a tirade against patriarchy as the reason she had never viewed her own vagina before.

I'm sorry, but how the hell are men to blame for the fact that this woman after 70 years didn't have the sense to look at herself if that's what she wanted to do?

I found that particular story very rotten, hateful propaganda.

I am doing a science fair project, on how fears change with age.
I need to know what most of the fears are that people have (ex.= spiders, thunderstorms, death, etc.) from the age of 3rd grade through 8th grade.

Just wondering...

I see so much suffering around the world and it disheartens me to some degree. Yet, nearly all of us in this society have the free time to do what we want and not starve to death/be in mortal danger due to civil war, poor infrastructure, etc.

Is Western society really just one big vacation for us?

A woman and her tow children walk into a homeless shelter. They are obvioulsly starving, dirty, and the children are crying. The shelter attendant refuses them admittance, although there is ample room, because the mother does not have the proper identification card. This is an example of what sociological term?

A. Trained incapacity
B. Hierarchy of Authority
