Perhaps they were traumatized in their mother's womb, who knows? All I know is that being straight, it is disgusting to me. It is NOT normal, no matter what the liberal idiots think. If homosexuals do not repent, they will burn for eternity. Their lifestyle is an abomination. Go on and report me, liberals. I could care less.

There have been homosexual people since the dawn of man. Some American Indian tribes believe that some people are born with a combined spirit of man and woman. Those people were not stigmatized in the same way they are in this society. They were considered spiritual, and were allowed to choose the way they wanted to live - as a man or a woman. They were not allowed to marry. In other cultures, such as Egypt, homosexuality was accepted, but the DISPLAY of homosexuality was considered an embarassment in royalty. Another ancient explanation is that a man or a woman may secretely harbor an envy of, or desire to experience being the opposite sex, but because of karma, must remain in the same gender. When they take rebirth, they find they still have the desire, but the wrong body. Until fairly recently, in this century, homosexuality was considered a personality disorder, a psychiatric problem, brainwashing, and other demeaning labels. There are probably as many explanations as there are opinions. The important thing to remember is that people are just people, and whatever sexual orientation they are, they are just as worthy of respect, consideration, and dignity as anyone else.

I read about a study that found men with older brothers are more likely to be gay. The odds increased with more older brothers. They found one guy who had about 10 older brothers, and he was gay. They think it has something to do with testosterone building up in the womb. Sorry, don't have a link.

For some reason, biological explanations are usually very politically incorrect. You can see how many people reflexively answered "they just are" without any evidence.

Why are others straight?

I don't know a single person who woke up and said...my life is just too easy. I think I'm going to switch things up a bit, lose some of my basic freedoms, a whole bunch of my best friends, most of my family, and be ousted by society if I even consider answering the age old Monday morning question of "So what did you do this weekend?"

There is siad to be a gene that lead to this effect.
This is something that they have found huge amounts of evidence for after lab test and research in Canada.

There is also the hormonal effects that could be involved from in the womb.

I tend to see homosexuality as a biological issue.

i support gay love because i believe love comes in whatever form it does, no matter what genders are concerned. love is about love, not about age, colour, opposite gender etc. i hate people who diss because of sterotypes. yea i think we all know what the bible says: gay is a sin. well so what? gods loves each and every one of us, yet if we step out of line/commit sins, he sends us to hell. how fair is that??

so some people are gay because the see beyond physical appearance & little things, and they actually look into the soul and heart for love.

I heard that all fetus in the womb begin as a girl and although they develope into men, the mind might not have matured so they are really women in their head. As for gay women, I'm not sure.

actually guys dont have a opnion on being gay or not. girls can choose to be lesbians or not. easily. and turn back to straight. thats why you see girls can be more intimate with each other, and touchy, knowing it means nothing. while guys gotta keep their distance because being gay is not genetic but something in your mental statement. its like, its just there, and you cant deny it. while girls have a choice.

Why are some people male and some people female? Why are some people black, some people white, some people Asian, and some people Hispanic? Why are some people alive?

That's just who they are.
