I'm a guy and I'll admit some of it is informative and entertaining.

However,

One story includes an older woman steps over a mirror, and sees her vagina for the first time. She then goes on a tirade against patriarchy as the reason she had never viewed her own vagina before.

I'm sorry, but how the hell are men to blame for the fact that this woman after 70 years didn't have the sense to look at herself if that's what she wanted to do?

I found that particular story very rotten, hateful propaganda.

Trust me; the Vagina Monologues are a wonderful mixture of comedy, drama and education into a woman's sexual psyche.

Go see it.

Don't worry about the "propoganda." I think you will come away laughing about some of the things you'll see and hear.

Honestly, my first year in college it was being performed there and I found the title to embarrassing to even consider seeing. It sounded more like something that should be watched at home. I know the old saying never judge a book by it's cover but sometimes it's inevitable. Just that little tidbit you just revealed reassured me that I made the right decision in not seeing it because that just doesn't sound right.
