What happens?

Should Pandora keep her trap shut?

Should all secrets be buried least the crooked power brokers and puppetmasters be blown?

Ok so here's the story and question....

I was with my girlfriend almost 5 years....we loved each other very much....we did have some fights and arguments.
I wasn't perfect, I did say mean things sometimes or do things but I have OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Not all of it, but most of it was caused by my problems, I have been getting help and working on myself for the last
year and a half and been getting better. I regularly go to my therapist and psychiatrist and take my meds as prescribed.
I have gotten better. She left me 3 months ago because she said she didn't like the way I treated her. She is the type
that wants a "fairytale" relationship. Everyone has told her including her parents that she won't get that with anyone.
She also expects no fights or arguments. Well anyways she told me for the first two months after she left...that she
still wanted to be with me, she loves me, misses me, wants to know I'm serious about us, etc. Then two weeks after
that go by and she doesn't say much to me....well I texted her a lot but it was because when I tried to give her space
before by not texting as much, she would text me and say why are you ignoring me or I don't think you're serious about
this...and then when I did she didn't want me to text or wouldn't text me back most of the time.

Okay, I don't want judging answers here. Please bare with me.
I'm not in a relationship, because I'm very afraid where things will go. I'm very afraid to get into a relationship, one, because I might hurt, but it's not the main factor. I'm afraid of HURTING my partner. My mother was and is extremely manipulative and passive aggressive, and I am quite sure I am out of the habit of being an emotional abuser and a manipulator. But I am afraid I will relapse, and that is why I try to keep guys an arms length from me. I have done things like invited two guys who both liked me and hated each other over at the same time and flirted with both just to see what would happen, out of, I don't know how to describe it, absolute wrath. I've cheated, and manipulated to get my way.
That's in the past now, but I am absolutely afraid I will do it again.
Please help, and please no judgemental answers.

Example: I have a book which reminds me of old sayings like "Look before you leap" So, I spend my day thinking twice about what I do. It might be slowing me down or it may be appropriate.

This source is oriented towards, be patient, persevere, remain calm, don't be hasty, act when the time is right, and so on. I pick a saying at random.

How can I measure the usefulness of this thing in my life?

I live in a big city. I am fully aware that I will never encounter a larage cat of any kind here--- never mind get killed by one. When I'm walking by a bunch of trees or bushes I irrationally panic and convince myself that there is a tiger or lion or other large cat ready to pounce on me. Sometimes it even gets so bad that I convince myself that these big cats are in my home so I lock myself in a small room where I can see everything in front of me. This is truely pathetic, but when I get in those mental states I feel like it is legitimate. A lot of my fear has to do with the fact that tigers and lions bite the necks of their prey to kill them and that jaguars bite through their preys skull. I also convince myself that these wild cats could be in a city setting by escaping captivity. What in the name of God can I do. This is taking over my mind. I know how ridiculous this is, but I can't help it. It's not bears or sharks or anything. It's large wild cats. WTF. What can I do for help???

There are many types of people on earth. There are many people you've met personally too.

Some people, usually the elderly, become notable for their wisdom. Most cultures have people who are considered wise. They are revered and honored. Sometimes age is not the reason. There are young people who seem to be well grounded and are able to see "the whole picture."

I can't really say that about the US where I live. Many times the eldely relative is shuttled off to a nursing home when it becomes inconvenient for the adult children to take care of them. I'M NOT SAYING EVERYBODY, just "some."

So, at what point, would you say, do people become respected within their milieu for their wisdom and the good advice they offer freely?

One more tiny question: Who do YOU consider "wise?"

Im in college and I live in a suite w/ 3 rms. I recently asked one of my suitemates who lives in the other room if I could borrow one of her textbooks from a class we're both in for 5 minutes. She said,"Hey, since Im letting you borrow my book, can you treat me to a meal." I said "ok, how much?" Any logical person would ask how much. She said, "I dont know."(we were outside) So I proceeded to say,"Oh I could of paid for the two soups that you just bought." (2 Soups = $4.50ish) SHe goes on to say, "Oh know, I meant when Michelle is here to." I was like, "I have to buy a meal for your sister too" She was like "We share our food." So, i was like thinking, what the heck is the difference, basically she wants me to treat her and her sister to a huge meal,so i can borrow her damn book for 5 minutes. When we walked back to the suite,I told her "Forget it, Ill just borrow it from the library."Also, her sis previously borrowed 2 of my books for like a whole day & i didnt act like a b**.

They are trying to drive me to suicide and laughing about it. A small group a person who disliked me is friends with. They won't leave me alone and are playing 'tricks' on me. I did not know this at first, I found out and then overheard them saying they want to drive me to suicide. One of them in the group will jest to me ''if i have commited suicide yet?'' The one will say to me 'I was really worried about you, i was sure hoping you havent commited suicide and laughs.'

The other one loosely threatened me and told me they wished i was dead. I feel like im being terrorized. What I want to know is what could possibly drive a small group to do this kind of thing when only one in the group has something personal against me? Is it possible for one person to influence others in such a way as to cause them to behave this way to someone they don't know? Or are they all sick and what do they gain from this?

Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress emphasizes the importance of stories and literature in everyday life. There are many instances where the main characters undergo change as a result of contact with media. Therefore, stories influence our lives because they inspire the motivation to change. Being able to adapt to a changing situation is necessary for success. Such can be obtained through literature. Getting an early start reading books will increase the chances of success later on in life. Perhaps that is why impoverished children are crippled for life; they have a lack of literature. Society’s next move should be to educate the homeless and poor to be productive members of society. If everyone on our Earth had the ability contributed one positive thing to society, the world would be a better place.

I am in my 3rd year of college now but I felt like my life from high school just passed by...I want to go back and change a couple things but I can't and I get depressed thinking about it. I commute to college too, so I feel like I didn't get the "true" college experience with dorm life and such...and the past 6 years just passed me by with many things that I "should have, could have, or would have done" so sad...any experiences similar?
