I live in a big city. I am fully aware that I will never encounter a larage cat of any kind here--- never mind get killed by one. When I'm walking by a bunch of trees or bushes I irrationally panic and convince myself that there is a tiger or lion or other large cat ready to pounce on me. Sometimes it even gets so bad that I convince myself that these big cats are in my home so I lock myself in a small room where I can see everything in front of me. This is truely pathetic, but when I get in those mental states I feel like it is legitimate. A lot of my fear has to do with the fact that tigers and lions bite the necks of their prey to kill them and that jaguars bite through their preys skull. I also convince myself that these wild cats could be in a city setting by escaping captivity. What in the name of God can I do. This is taking over my mind. I know how ridiculous this is, but I can't help it. It's not bears or sharks or anything. It's large wild cats. WTF. What can I do for help???
