what a sad question to ask, Having lived with the effects of suicide in the family, i personally would say it is not the best way of doing things. I don't agree that it is the most selfish act there is as each person or situation is different.
I hope it isn't you who is at your lowest point, if it is the only way to go is up after reaching so low. big hugs x x x

Nope. the backside ingredient would be the place you're suicidal, do no longer pass by using with suicide, and finally end up being a strolling melancholy production unit/zombie (conversing from my very own journey, and it somewhat is only my very own opinion). Lowest interior the experience that's between the worst issues concerning the subject rely of suicide to pass by using IMHO, i'm no longer particularly particular what your concept of lowest is.

I have attempted suicide three times in my life but thank God I never succeeded. However, I DO KNOW that I do not want to suffer when (or if) I grow to be as old as my parents. They are in their 80's and have dementia and my father's pride is hurt because he can't do the things he used to do, like drive. He can barely make it to the bathroom. If I get to that point, I will end it. No regrets. I see the hell they are going through and how horrible it is and how depressed my father is. It's crushing my spirit. But I have a lot to do in life - so many places to see and things to do. I'm only 45. Not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

I have to admit that I thought of it, and I was at the lowest point of my life. However, suicide is the cowards way out. You just have to deal with the fact that life isn't easy and enjoy the beauty of life despite of the hardships. Because you only get to live once.

No , because once you have reached the lowest point there is usually a leveling off and a gradual rising to a peak and then a leveling off /.

Never ever commit suicide. You'll only go to hell. No matter how bad it is, if you reached your lowest point, you can only go up, right?

I couldn't tell you (nor could you tell me) until THAT point is reached. However, how would you know that there is not a point 'lower' than the darkest one you have arrived at!
It's a little like the statement, 'It's always in the last place I look that I find these things.' (If it wasn't there, then you'd still be looking ~ dimwit.)
I wish you a Bon~voyage.

I don't think so.....If all my limbs were active and my brain was active, could see and hear, it would be terrible to cut me out of the human species. I might join one of those world aid groups and work in a war torn country, being useful to my fellow man/women/child,

at a very low point in my life i seriously thought about it ........however i was suffering depression.
however i could not actually do it as i think the common sense and my healthy bit of mind at the time stopped me......thank god.
if your feeling that low please speak to someone ,family etc and go to your gp ........ dont do anything silly as if you get the help you need then soon you will be looking back on this part of your life and thinking.........wow i actually thought about doing that.
good luck and dont suffer in silence
