Especially when we pretend we're someone we're not and deep down aren't happy. Why do we care so much what other people think of us and fear embarrassment?

I've never been one to want to draw too much attention to myself but I've been contemplating why I took this so seriously all my life. Why do I take so many precautions to be "normal"?

My friend and I are always worrying about that and our parents tell us not to but we do. It's a self-esteem issue and in todays society that is normal! We don't want to keep worrying about it and it is kind of unhealthy to worry about it so much. Please help us find out a way to actually kind of change our minds instead of like other people do and tell us not to worry, and I know others struggle with it to, because look at the celebritys...they can never be seen without make-up and without looking good!! (please dont give us advice like telling us to start wearing make-up or to just suck it up cupcake 'cause everyone struggles with it...we need good advice, HELP US!!lol)

My mother left me and my brother at around the ages of 4 (me) & 6. She died last year and I am now having bad feelings which keep just welling up. I am in my 50's and recently remembered that I had to choose which parent to stay with. Could this be the reason I find it difficult to make personal choices?

Even if it's something I like to do, I just can't make myself get on it. I don't like to shower--don't want to get wet. I've got tons of TG flower arrangments to make for friends & family, and I love to do that, but I can't get started. I'm sleepy. I think I'll take a nap and get started later. Maybe. Maybe I just need more light.

hug or be "sentimental" with their family, specifically the family they grew up with (mostly their parents) yet they are fine being this way with their own family (spouse and children) and maybe they are a Bit (only a little bit) excessive with their family when it comes to hugs and being affectionate, in the case that they feel needy for it.

Last night, I had a nightmare. I was standing across the street from my college campus, and it was nighttime. I'm standing near a pizza parlor, and looking at a graveyard on the campus. Suddenly, a zombie comes out of the ground and starts dancing towards me. He's dressed like a rapper, and he has a cane.

I start screaming and the guy who works in the pizza parlor comes out with this girl I know. The three of us jump in the pizza guy's car and start driving away. I get in the backseat (I don't know if that's important). We drive for about five seconds, and the rapper zombie jumps on the trunk of the car and smashes through the window. I pick up a broken piece of glass and am just about to stab him.....and then I woke up.

It felt so real. At 21, you'd think I'd be too old be having nightmares. When I woke up, I was too scared to move for awhile. What does this dream mean?

I hate when people trying to cheer me up with hopefull sentences. It feels little dramatic. And most of them sounds obviously lying. You know I'm saying?

Is it just me? Why I'm like this?

A mistake is when you make a wrong move on the road in your car without thinking or with something else on your mind that results in an accident. However, cheating on your spouse, as many would have us to believe, is not a mistake, but rather a transgression. As a matter of fact, anytime you do something you know is wrong even before you do it should never be called a mistake simply because it isn't. A mistake, in my opinion, is an error in judgment, not an intentional wrongdoing of any sort...
