yes. i used to be very pesimistic, but i've worked on being positive and i think it does help. you can't expect miracles, but if you think positivly, you live a healthier happier life and i think it makes your company more enjoyable to those around you.

it is a positive thing for you that you realize that you are a pessimistic. When you know your one of the greatest weakness it will be very easy for you to analyze yourself. Positive thinking always works. There is no drought at all.Off coarse as a loan collector when will you approach your customers positively you will get more success. Positivenesses does not mean that you react beyond the rules. for helping others you cannot put yourself in problem.

It totally works. Check out the book called "The Power Of Positive Thinking". I cant remember at the moment who wrote it but you could find it online or an any bookstore. Its an awesome book. There have also been studies that have shown that pessimistic people live less happy lives then optimists. Mind over matter!

I used to be the "guy's friend" kinda gal. Not really pretty, no one really interested in me. The one day, someone I didn't know from another town said, 'you have a nice a$$." And would you know, every since I repeated what he said to me, I started to have boyfriends left and right! It's been over 12 years now, 6 boyfriends and a husband later, and I still know I'm hot stuff.
So, yes, positive thinking does work. Believe it and it will start to show in how you walk, talk, act and overall conduct yourself. And people will respect you and won't have to put up with their crap. So think positively about how you would like to be viewed, and it will change your life around.
Good luck!

One of the best books on positive thinking is "Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential". Although it's a bit religious, the approach mentioned in the book is very empowering to face life in general.
In summary, yes positive thinking is very effective. If you believe it can work then it will.

Positive thinking works miracles in you. Even when you're down and indebt, your positive thinking gives you courage to work with your bill collector. Positive thinking exudes in your body language and those who must deal with you can usually tell from your positive approach that you are genuine in your effort to settle the problem.
Its amazing how sincere one is when you apply positive thinking in all that you do. Your words, your tone, your demeanor, reaction, they all come together. People love to be around positive thinkers, unless they are crabby and deserving of other crabs. LOL

Better safe then sorry.
Actually most people say that so won't feel bad all the time. They probably think of something to live for, so they won't think this is all worth for nothing.
