Does blindsight reflect a deficit in sensation or perception? What is the explanation for blindsight?

Deficit in perception. Don't know the answer to the 2nd question, i took that class about five yrs ago. But its definitely perception.

blindsight?
That in itself makes no sense.
it's an oxymoron.
but, being blind does not deprive you of sensation. Infact, it heightens the other senses that you do have. Perception is not deprived either, it's displaced.
