There are times when I start to let go, then I have these realistic dreams about being with him. This has been happening for many years, through many relationships...Is there some secret way to get over it that I haven't discovered? I'll care for him forever, but how do I stop longing for him? Somebody help me, please!

Hello,
lately I've been a bit depressed and frustrated with the fact that ,no matter how hard i try, i don't seem to be able to change and make the progress i want to make in my life. I am turning 17 pretty soon and I am not the person who i wanted to be at that age and i am certianly not satisfied with my life. I think i might have self-esteem problems and that's why i get easily discouraged. I don't want to give up, I want to be strong and change but I don't feel the strenght or motivation to keep on going. I can't help this feeling of frustration. Any advice or help please?
I would really appreciate it.

Can anyone give me tips on not letting this lazy piece of crap co-worker get to me? We both work part-time and share the work. But guess what? This craphole doesn't work - they are soooo good at making themselves look busy. Everyone has tried to tell the boss. Boss says it's too expensive to fire and re-hire. The shared work is all on me. I love my co-workers and the location and everything else about my job but her. Aside from quitting (which may happen one of these days, but then she'd win), can anyone give me like, mental tips on how to not let this lazy, fat piece of crap have no affect on me? I'd really like to clock in, do my work with a smile on my face, clock out, and then not think about how miserable she's making this place. Any ideas please?

I'm suffer from intense social anxiety. At school, I'm always alone, I basically have no friends. I can't talk to the people in my class, the teachers, anyone. And this is why my grades are bad too, because I can never ask for help. Although i am hardworking.
I told my parents this, and they said I'm fine. They won't take me to a therapist at ALL. And I know this is not a money problem, because when I asked to buy a book (with my own money) on how to overcome shyness, they still said no, and that reading that stuff will corrupt my mind.
My life is really bad right now, and I am suffering like crazy. I feel like I want to kill myself, and that's my main problem. I'm 16 by the way, so it's not like I can go to a therapist myself. when I told my parents I wanted to commit suicide, they got worried, but they never took me to a therapist thinking that I would never actually do it. I'm depressed and I don't know what to do at all.

What SHOULD I do?

physical and mental, victimization and abuse....if this has happened constistantly throughout your life, can your extreme low self esteem and inner rage and anger be successfully treated?

back when i was bullied, i didnt fight back, i let them do it, so to this day, years later, i still feel outrage and am fighting the victimizers still. i still have flashbacks.

i feel the anger went bottled up and supressed.

now im 30 years old with borderline personality disorder, trying to work on getting well so i can accomplish happiness and life goals

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

I think about, i have nightmares about it, daydreams. I cant imagine how someone could do that to another person and live with themselves. To gain someones trust then violate it in such a way and never once apologize and when confronted continue to do the same, almost gloats about it. How do you forgive someone like this? How do i stop thinking about how badly i was mistreated?

Job interviews are nightmares, I can't get hired because of it. I seize up and can't think or do anything....Also making new friends and talking to the opposite sex, that's just plain impossible for me. Sometimes I go through long bouts of moderate to severe depression, because of this reason.

I want a complete shy overhaul, I want to get rid of shyness and fear. Is it possible to completely change this and become comfortable, maybe even outgoing? How can I do this? HELP

Some days I feel like I could take on the world. other days I feel like I'll always be a failure.
My parents tell me I have the talent and will power to do anything I want....(Like my dad and papa...) They wouldn't just say that but I can't rely on them... Is this making sense? am I alright? can anyone look back and say they understand? can relate? Do even the most talented, and those who succeed have crappy days? Am i doomed?

questions that they feel are in the wrong section, analy retentive. I understand that the term is often used in relation to those who obsess about neatness and order due to difficulties that they experience progressing from the stage of incontinence in childhood. Personaly I would rename the report abuse button the anal abuse button.

I dreamt the other night that my friends cousin who is pregnant had died. I kept repeating her name over and over in disbelief. The shock was immense. My mother has the same name as my friends cousin and I was wondering if it was a disguised way of making me think of her. She has a lot of health problems one of which is her heart and I don't see her enough. Any clues here?
If you don't believe in this move on please, I haven't asked for your opinion on dream interpretation in itself!
