The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

I, myself only saw the dancer move clockwise until I covered up her body and just focused on her head. After 10 secs her head began to move anti-clockwise and then eventually I lifted my hand and she 'moved' in an anti-clockwise direction.

There have been times when I had her body covered that her head continually kept flipping between clockwise/ anti-clockwise.

I spent like 2 hours looking at this thing the other day with my girlfriend. Its crazy when you watch it with someone else and they see it different from you and your like no way how can you see it going that way. If you watch it long enough you see it change directions. But its just an illusion. It never changes in direction. I used the prnt scrn button to take snapshots of it and pasted them in paint and you can see that at any given moment the girl can be perceived in 2 ways. Either with her left leg up or her right leg up. Which you perceive determines which way she seems to be spinning. Whats interesting is that you can get the girl to change direction by using a certain side of your brain. Like if your thinking logically then try to make something up creatively it will change direction. Changing the angle at which your looking at her or closing one eyes or looking away then looking back also seems to change her direction.

I see her going clockwise, I thought I was always a left brain thinker but I see right brain does apply alot to me. I tried to imagine it going anti clockwise but it doesn't happen, even if I close one eye or the other or close both and open again or try wishful thinking it just doesn't change direction.

Are you sure some of the others see it differently? Hmm.

She's going clockwise. But that's weird. I'm right handed so it should be the left side of the brain.

I looked at a picture a few times, and I definitely see her going clockwise. This is strange because I have always considered myself more left-brained and a more analytical thinker.

I see her moving clockwise. but while she was loading it looked like counterclockwise. I'm left handed.
I was told once by a psychology professor that I'm not a necessarily a typically brained left handed person. Something about the fact that I don't turn my hand around when I write. Anyone know anything about this?

I definately see it anti-clockwise. I guess I am "left" brained.
