questions that they feel are in the wrong section, analy retentive. I understand that the term is often used in relation to those who obsess about neatness and order due to difficulties that they experience progressing from the stage of incontinence in childhood. Personaly I would rename the report abuse button the anal abuse button.

I understand exactly what you mean and yes I would call them anal retentive. However, changing the name of the button from report abuse to anal abuse would not solve the problem. First of all it give a bad meaning to anal abuse, which can be very interesting. The people who do this are NOT interesting and would make them feel special when in actuality, they are not. These numbsculls who abuse this priviledge should actually have that button placed, quite forcefully, into their anally retentive.... anus.

Conversly, would you consider those who are too inept or lack the care to post their questions in the proper section, as being anal retentives, too. When someone asks a question, they are asking ME to take my time to answer it... the VERY LEAST they can do, is ask it in an area where I would normally LOOK for such a question

Anal retentive doesn't even begin to describe it. I would happily offer more descriptive words but on preview all I get is ***** and ******** and ***********'* and ****'***. The report abuse button should be called the **** **** button. See what I mean? I can't even express myself. I got a violation notice the other day just for typing asterisks. The asterisks were supposed to stand for "fluffy" "fuzzy" and "teddy", but you know people and their dirty little minds, they filled in the blanks and hung their crap on me. Can I say crap? I think it's okay to say crap. Crap crap crap. Testing. Is this thing on? Good. So far so good.

It's all part of the plan. Outlaws now kill people who talk to the police. The establishments have to counter this social trend by creating a generation of whistle blowers. This is just like in those movies by that nice little German girl Leni...

Well, what qualifies as 'obsessive'? When I see a post in the wrong section, I tell the poster it was in the wrong section but I certainly don't 'report' it as abuse.

I don't know if they're anal retentive.

But, I would call them full of...fecal matter.

Some of my own questions got posted in the wrong categories because I wasn't tracking and just let them go where the category bot put them.

It's either that or they are obsessive/complusive and can't stand anything that is out of place. Kinda like the TV character "Monk", if you've ever seen him.
