No but it does make me think that there are some people out there on the web one of whom answered your question that are in serious need of help. I worry about children getting into the mix of this. I hope parents are watching over their shoulders so that none get hurt. This is a place to ask and answer questions not a place to vent. I still hold my same beliefs and I like having this forum. It can be helpful and sometimes amusing and sometimes fun!

Actually it has helped a lot in my thinking about a few things that matter to me.
I rarely ask a question here but I'm answering a lot. It makes me think.
I'm giving advice to another human being and it better be good. If the advice is bad and they take it? Whoa! That's a heck of thing to do to someone.
Then there are the trolls who are looking for a verbal joust, they can be annoying, but then the ones who are just pain silly and anyone reading knows it. Those are fun to answer, you can go hog wild with insanity. And know it won't be taken to heart!
But yes ...I think very hard on the important questions, and if I don't have an answer to help? I will leave it alone rather than poke in on their question for a couple points.
Lately though ....a lot of questions are lacking in common sense. I hope it is just a phase.

The problem is that they are just opinions and therefore you have to take them with a pinch of salt.
I suppose it could open your eyes to the variety or lack of upon certain topics or in certain scenarios, but i think it would be niave to see someone agree/disagree with you on a given topic and that influencing your own feeling towards it.
And Mitch - get a life.

I have been shocked at some questions asked and also shocked by how people can be so rude.....but then I suppose thats life...
I have also asked myself what the hell am I doing here at this time of night answering stupid questions....
But hopefully every story or question should have a good ending and when you think you have helped someone else then you do get a good feeling about it.,,,,I now select what I think is worth my time....do you agree?

Yes. All of the above. It has honed my communication skills but deepened my frustration levels. Most of the frustration comes from the chickenshat policies of "reporting." Reporting is just a euphemism for "elementary school tattletaleing."

I think it keeps the brain ticking over and the gray matter active and there is concern for others.
a question last week simply said "do you love me" I answered yes but when i go to the next question no.
I think that sums up most of Y/Answers

It has made me see that some people ask for advice when they've already made their minds up so they're just looking for agreement.
Mitch I do hope you stumble upon a tribe of cannibals and meet a grisly ending with a large spear up your a*rse.

i think that the religious zelots are REALY in your face on here.
my belief in ANY god was iriversibly shattered a long time ago and the way they try and try to 'bring you back to god' makes me sick.
the blinkered bigoted tw*ts should see it from the other side for a while.

Mostly, it just makes me laugh! I'd never dream of asking for any sensible advice on here, it's just a bit of fun.

Definetely. Even though many people criticize others for their opinion, I still learn stuff.
