Funeral help?
it seems my husband's grandmother is not doing well in the hospital. my MIL is flying up to be with her husband as he has been with his mother during this time....he told her to take clothes for a funeral. so we are preparing for the worst.
it seems a bit petty of me but i was wondering, since i have never met my husband's grandmother, how could we celebrate her life. is sending flowers and a card of sympathy enough to show how much we care about everyone's loss.
we are flying to the dakota's from south tx. over the thanksgiving holidays and i have never met my husband of three years family. just my father in law's brothers and sisters. i know his immediate family and my mother in law's family.
anyway....i want to be respectful and kind and thoughtful and make a good impression.
i'd send a bouquet of blue irises, that is my favorite flower, and a card from our family. is there anything else i can do? we can't just go and join them for a funeral.

I am worried and have tried to get her help and have reported her on abuse but not successful. thanks

Ever had a dream of a deceased loved one who came to you to tell you about the 'afterlife' or give you a message? What was the message? Were all five senses a part of your dream? Do you think it was really them in the dream, or do you think it was just your subconcious doing some wishful thinking? How do you explain these types of dreams?

VATICAN CITY (AP) -- A Vatican cardinal said Thursday the faithful should listen to what secular modern science has to offer, warning that religion risks turning into "fundamentalism'' if it ignores scientific reason.

Cardinal Paul Poupard, who heads the Pontifical Council for Culture, made the comments at a news conference on a Vatican project to help end the "mutual prejudice'' between religion and science that has long bedeviled the Catholic Church and is currently part of the evolution debate in the United States.

The Vatican project was inspired by Pope John Paul II's 1992 declaration that the church's 17th Century denunciation of Galileo was an error resulting from "tragic mutual incomprehension.'' Galileo was condemned for supporting Nicholas Copernicus' discovery that the Earth revolved around the sun; church teaching at the time placed Earth at the center of the universe.

"The permanent lesson that the Galileo case represents pushes us to keep alive the dialogue..."

I really like to put my hand over woman´s/ girl´s mouth. I think it is lovely when they have to feel my palm against their lips and resign to it, accept it and be submissive. I like to keep their mouth shut while watching television, showing them their place, and indicating that they have to be quiet. I also like to do it publicly, in bus, in street, so people can see it and I can watch their reaction.
I like to do it in home playing like I am a hero, she is heroine, we are hiding and I have to keep her quiet, It is fun if she has lipstick in her mouth. I like to do it when we are in bed and she has to be silent. Do you women/girls ever like it when man is holding your mouth with his hand? Does it ever turn you on?

with and be friends with were being told not to talk or associate with you?

girls who you liked, others to, were all being told or instructed not to get involved with you.
i say this because constantly in my life people have rejected me and always end up abandoning me.
im 30 now, have borderline personality disorder and ptsd & depression due to alot of abuse and bullying growing up.
ive never made any friends in life..and only talk with a few good people online.

one of them, a girl in the u.s has just stopped contacting me via yahoo messenger.....she was really nice, supportive and understood......i did tend to pour my problems out with her...but not to get her down....just because im lonely, and dont have alot of people to turn to.
shes just stopped contacting me, and wasnt receptive when i asked her how things were...so now ive backed off, sensing rejection.
i get clingy and have very low self esteem, so its not easy to form friendships with anyone. it takes great courage

Marx said that division of labor, exploitation and surplus value creates a situation when man is alienated from his true self. He has to identify with his profession or vocation and forget about what he really wants. This creates intense conflict in his mind. Is n't his the reason for many psychopathic (not nuerological) conditions today? We've rarely heard about depression and anxiety in the writings from the pre-capitalistic world.

What do you think?

Whenever I get angry, I do a good job of controlling myself. I hold it for about 2-5 minutes, feel like I am over it , then just when I think I am okay, somebody says something or somebody comes up to me and then I burst.

I've tried walking away, I've tried staying in my room, but usually its my Mom that walks up to me or convinces me to spend time with the very person I need time away from. Or sometimes it is my Mom that belittles or patronizes me in front of people that I like. And she just does it out of nowhere, giving me no time to prepare for it. I can't stand it. I control myself, control myself, hold my breath, then just when its like almost over, and I think I've made it through the situation, I burst in the last 20 seconds or so.

Can somebody please give me some anger management strategies? Well actually I do a good job when I am dealing with people other than my family. Its only when I am with my family members, ( at least one of them ) that I can't deal with it.

Can you set an alarm to wake you up at a certain amount of time so that you never reach the REM stage? It is the only way that I can deal with the dreams I have, not really nightmares, just being with people in ,my past that I am not supposed to think of when I'm awake. Sometimes they are more real to me than reality because it feels like I spend more time interacting with them than the people I know now...anmd it is affecting me in several negative ways, but I can't seem to just "forget" the dreams or "shake them off"

A friend and I want to settle a bet on who is crazier. We were figuring we could both take the same basic psych eval, but he was nervous about it going on some sort of record.

All I want to know is,
Does it generally go on some sort of record?
If so, is it possible for it NOT to?
