Ever had a dream of a deceased loved one who came to you to tell you about the 'afterlife' or give you a message? What was the message? Were all five senses a part of your dream? Do you think it was really them in the dream, or do you think it was just your subconcious doing some wishful thinking? How do you explain these types of dreams?

that's how i found out i was preggers. 3 weeks after dream i tested postivie =) it was my bro for sure. totally wasnt my imagination. i totally believe they are msgs. it's out how i find out stuff

My dad died of an illness in 1975. Since then I have had several dreams in which he appeared. I always knew he was dead in these dreams, but I related to him and him to me exactly as if he were still alive.
In these dreams I am about the age I was when he died. We didn't have a really great bond when he was alive, and I always thought both of us lost something because of that. I think perhaps the dreams are an expression of my wish we had been closer, but I don't rule out the possibility that he is trying to speak to me from the other side, maybe telling me to make the most of the time I have.
Incidentally, I am now 10 years older than he was at the time of his death. And I look younger than he did at that time.
It has made me want to be closer to my own sons.
