I mean I like this senior in my schoool, he plays football, he's pretty good looking, and could have actually fooled me for a day that he was a nice guy. I think I can be annoying to sometimes, especially when I'm bored. He says he gets mood swings, so maybe that's why he's nice one day and an *** the next. I just wish I didn't like him, I've had 'feelings' for him since february. Any suggestions on what I should do? He just takes me by surprise sometimes and always reels me back in and I cannot take it anymore. PLEASE HELP!

I was just wondering what is your opinion of the extent of moral obligation to other people and other living things? Do you always have to follow through on your word no matter what? Do you always have to follow through on a respnsibility?

Today I noticed I had a very pleasent and happy day at school today. I'm usually very tired, cranky, bored and off in my own little world when I'm at school. But Today, I was feeling fully energized(even though I only had 4 hours of sleep) and for the very first time in years, I felt Confident in myself and happy with who I am. I looked in the mirror before I left for school and said outloud to myself " Well my hair is kinda messy, and I'm not exactly *Stylish* but I'm pretty in my own way and I wouldn't change who I am for all the gold in the world. I am beautiful. And nobody will tell me other wise. " I've never felt this way before, walking around with my head held up high, ready to take on anything. The only thing I can think of that might have caused this feeling is my attempt at lucid dreaming last night. I finally was able to realize I was dreaming and even though I woke up soon afterwards, It gave me hope and confidence that stayed with me all day! Can LucidDreams do this to you?

Well, it just seems like everything's getting worse in my life. I don't like boys, nothing seems to be fun anymore, school's just plain old boring, and I can't cheer up. Anything to get my mind off of this? I'm really depressed. :[

Is a person more likely to be telling the truth about something if they shared a piece of information about themself with you without you even asking them to?

2007-09-17 12:17:26 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous

examples...

How to do school work.
How to pay bills.
Need a job in high school.
Where to work.
Need to date.
How fast or slow to walk, etc.

Why do certain people feel the need to tell others what to do and how?

Why am I asking this question? Because my friend(s) keep on telling me how to do things, etc., and I'm getting fed up...

Do you do this? Why / Why Not?

i worry about so many things that i know i shouldnt be worrying about. like: going in to a nursing home and being abused. dying and what i will do after( i am an athiest and have tried so hard to go back). the end of the world. global warming. college and career (im a senior in high school). i know im not the only one that worries but this some of this stuff seems unatural. i finally felt so bad that i told my mom about how i wanted to commit suicide but was scared to. and she said i could go back to a counselor i used to go to, that was 2 weeks ago and she hasnt done anything yet. i think i might need to be medicated, just for a few months. is there something i can do (im still a minor)?

What can I do about a co worker who's envious/jealous of me & caused me lots stress. I really like the company I work for, but gosh, this demon posessed-cow...LOL..has really got it in for me! She's a manipulating-2 face BEOTCH! I'm a hard worker. I do my job & want 2 succeed in it just like everyone else. Mad cow has been lying 2 my boss. Tells the boss I'm late everyday. That I'm hardly ever at work & that I don't do my job corerctly. All of those things are lies! Since I was promoted into her department. She was the cow who trained me. NO manuals! I knew right away! She tried 2 confuse me & set me up to fail. One day she would tell me how 2 do a certain task & the next day, she would tell me it isn't they she explained it. I began documenting everything. Her lies were exposed. Now she's accusing me of something else she has no proof of. Me & another coworker have spoken 2 our boss about her 2 mo.'s ago. She's done the same 2 the other coworker. She won't teach us anything more! Help

Have ever had this feeling that when you look at the past and you remember things that you've done or said that makes you feel guilty?

For example you remember something you said or something stupid you've done and you tell yourself why you did it? Or why didn't I do this instead of that? Or what if the person is mad at me because of what I said or done? Or what is the person thinking now?

It happens to me a lot and I just want to erase that memory, because I know I can't go back in time. What do you think I should do so I don't feel guilty?

yes one attends and sheds tears and speaks about their problems and sorrows, the therapist sits and listens but they must by all means maintain the professional visage and this results in a very unfulfilling experience.if someone has endured emotional or verbal abuse for example and the counseller gives this person with shattered self esteem a list of affirmations its quite a harrowing dissapointment!love and care are what really enables a person to grow and develop.love and encouragement are the most important factors!!do you think alot of therapists go into the mental health profession not for the pure intention of healing another human being but rather for the credentials?i cant help but wonder how damaging this is for the world of psychiatry and angers me that there may very well be some decidedly egotistical persons working in the profession!

It seems like virtually every anomoly can now be placed on the fault of a "gene", and NOT the individual...

Did the human being somehow just genetically mutate in the past 30-40 years(versus the past 10,000,000 years)...why did our parents drive small cars...didn't have diabetes...didn't need LIPO...or plastic surgery...or American Idol for a value system(or gross-consumerism as a way of life).

Maybe our parents were not as stupid as we think...maybe were just swallowing a new pack of lies and distortions to "validate" our incredibly poor choices we have made.

I don't think lack of self-control is a disease...it's a sell-out.
