It sounds like she has issues! I wouldn't not be her friend because of these things...I'd still give her a chance, but if it seemed like the problems needed more help than I could give her, I think I'd help point her in the right direction!!
Maybe she is this way because she doesn't have friends??

Yes it sounds like the girl you are speaking of is Anorexic and is also very much an introvert as well. Also if she cuts herself (that is self mutiliation she should definitely see a Psychiatrist ASAP.)
I would befriend this girl and encourage her to seek help for her problems.

Sounds like she is being heavily sexually and physically abused by someone and is literally dying (and trying to kill herself) for a way to get out.
She's into both cutting and anorexic behavior and needs to find someone she can trust 1000% to get her out of her current situation.
The problem is she may not even be aware that she's in a bad situation - and may be doing these stupid things to keep the guy she likes in her life.

Well the girl sounds depressed to me. If she is being made fun of, or doesn't have many friends, this could add to her depression. People aren't usually what you pereceive them to be on the surface. If you tried to get to know her, you may find your first impression of her wrong. You never know. And if you haven't tried to get to know her, you don't know her full story. Maybe she's had a lot of problems at home?

I would say something to your supervisor about her....she sounds like she is crying out for some type of attention which may result in more extreme actions. She may do something so drastic not meaning to do real harm to herself or others but in the end with out trying do exactly that.

I wouldnt say weird. Id say she is just herself and has a fear of becoming a social zombie acting the way everyone else has to act.
