I am a generally nice and easy going person. About 5 months ago I ended a friendship with someone who had been my friend for years because she was the opposite. Just a mean hearted person. Anyway. I always feel like I am wanting to check her myspace and facebook. I don't want to talk to her by any means..just kind of seeing what she has been doing-and hoping not so good. When i hear someone say her name I immediately think bad thoughts about her. I don't like being that kind of person. I am trying to think of ways to release the bad energy, and just be like...whatever when I hear her name.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

some critics argue that freud who developed "psycho sexual development "theory , never himself studied the early childhood experiences of children but relied on his adult patients' recollections, free association and dreams. is there any truth in that criticism?

Greetings to all. Haven't found any similar questions to this one, so i gave it a shot. It would help tremendously in my understanding of the mind and its limits, so if you have any knowledge in the field please feel free to share, as much as can be shared.

A guy I dated said he thinks I'm beautiful and sexy but he's not attracted to me. What does he mean by this? Are there different types of attraction? Is he talking about attraction to my personality or romantic attraction? In the past, he also used the terms no romantic spark, no connection and no chemistry. He also said that he is not in love with me. When someone uses the word attraction in this context, are they talking about romantic attraction? We've also had sex on numerous occassions throughout many years. He said guys have sex with girls they are not attracted to all the time. I'm confused by how he uses the word attraction. I've always thought people use the word attraction to mean physical or sexual attraction but he seems to be using the word in a different way. When I asked him what he meant by attraction, he said it means the same thing as interpersonal chemistry. I'm so confused!

I'll eat anything....literally. Pickled okra, frog legs, alligator or whatever. I mean, I wouldn't cockroaches or anything...but as far as normal or semi-normal foods go, I'll eat anything. I was thinking this is sort of odd...usually someone has something they don't like...my uncle, for example, doesn't like Brussels sprouts. Even when I was a kid I liked Brussels sprouts.

I'm thinking that this is because when I was young I went hungry a lot and would have loved anything no matter what it was...I remember once, it had been two days since I got a bite of anything and I walked to the McDonalds just to sort of take in the smell. I watched as one woman picked off most of her bread from her burger...I would have given anything for that bread. Is this the reason I'm not a picky eater?

Please, no rude answers....

When I was real little (5/6 ish, I'm in my 20s now), I was raped/molested by a neighborhood boy. It went on for maybe 2-3 years when I finally told my parents. At the time I knew it was wrong but didn't understand why or anything. When I was 5/6 he was 11/12. I told my parents and they didn't do anything they just told me it was my fault for going outside alone basically I always regretted telling them. All they did was ask him to stay away from me. To this day they claim that he never did anything wrong because we were both kids...i know I shouldn't have to ask but was it my fault ? Or would he be held accountable if this was happening now?

Assume you are in close relation with her/him. You can talk, discuss, shout etc. Assume you are her/his father/mother or spouse or sibling. You know that her/his thinking is not right (assume you are wiser), and you want to influence her/his thinking and bring it in the right direction. What will you do?
