I am going to answer this question first before a bunch of idiots come on and give stupid racist opinions about different ethnic groups.
I am sure there are ethnic horror writers out there; they just are not as well-known as their white counterparts. Further, I and a lot of people I know are both ethnic and horror fans. So maybe it's just one of those things, but I am sure there is no connection between ethnicity and enjoyment of the horror genre.

you may have a point there. i have been browsing authors in the above website for 20 minutes now and found 1 indian author and a couple asian authors, but most of them are white as you stated (see website for yourself)

but i disagree with there not being enough "ethnic" horror fans or "ethnic" people who like horror films/books. I think when you visit a movie theatre premier of a good horror film you'll find a mixture of races in the audience. i'm black and i really enjoy Horror films/books myself :-)

Stephen King is one of my favorites!
