I'm 16, and I've never noticed a really difficult age. Of course I'm not a lot like most people my age. I don't care about the things that most of my peers do.
So I don't know, good question.

Your 16th year is the last one where you are considered a child. And, if you are fortunate, you had help through your problems and making choices, up until then.
Then, you evolve or grow, from 17 and until the end. Life sits squarely on your own shoulders. Life is then, and continues to be, difficult, and you become your choices.
If it gets easier and you become more sure, then you are doing something right. May it be so for us all. C. :)!!

There’s an old joke – Why was Isaac 12 years old when God called Abraham to sacrifice his son? Because if he’d been 13, it wouldn’t have been a sacrifice!
The middle school years are killer.

Definitely 13 that's when we start to develop feelings sexually and we explore our bodies and usually we start to menstruate at this age which confuses us even more. I explored with girls at this age because i didn't know what to do with all these sexual feelings i started to have. I am BI but I just assumed it was normal to explore when your this age, maybe not everyone does this.
