I am sorry to ask this crazy question but I don't know why my boss needs to play me. I bought a pen to use at work and it was same style with my boss's pens. So I put my name on it. Today she took my pen, I walked by her table and found it. But I didn't want to ask her coz it might made her shy. I just planed to wait until she left the table. Then when I walked back to her table, I didn't see my name on the pen. So I started to ask if somebody see my pen. She just ignored, smiled and offered me to borrow her pen. Until the end of the day I signed the paper for her and borrowed her pen, I found the mark of staple that I used to post my name on the pen and some character of my pen that I remember and I know it is mine. Why she has to be mean like that!!!

Sounds like an odd question, but you really have to wonder. There are so many women out there who think it's great when a man is loud, abrasive, bullying, self-absorbed, and crude. A lot of women see such a man as "confident" because he "does whatever he wants to".

On the other hand, a healthy, intelligent, respectful man is seen as being "boring" and "too nice".

The real kicker is that it's smart, successful, businesswomen who love the obnoxious men.

Why is that?

I was talking to my niece this morning, she got into trouble with her mother because although she was telling the truth, it was more for teasing her mom.

Her mom is seeing one guy across town, on and off, more on than off and she tells me it's not at all serious, so she was talking on the phone with him and her daughter came into the room, proclaiming her mom was flirting with "so and so the other day on the quad in front of their apartment."

Okay, if her situation with guy #1 wasn't serious, then why did she flip out when her daughter teased her about flirting with new guy #2? After she chastised her daughter, she made up some cover story to guy #1. What's the deal?

Is there any particular psychological reason that people have childhood dreams that they stop having as they get older? When I was still a child (between the age of 3-10, I think), I had several childhood nightmares that I had quite often. However, these ceased to exist as I grew older, and by the age of 11-12 I didn't even have them anymore. But why?

I would give you a description of my childhood nightmares if it would help you answer my question, but I really don't want this to get too long-winded XD

to me and my husband lately.
she recently graduated from a university. psychology major? she said she needs to (quit us) get us out of her life. she has lived away from home for four years but we have paid all of her expenses and have given her money for school.
Now she has a nice job but she is miserable. She has told us that she frequents ghetto's and hopes that someone robs her or rapes her or even kills her.
Her emails to us are vicious and mean. Rot in he** and f**k you. we are hurt and don't understand why she treats us this way. She thinks she is suffering from low self esteem? i don't know about that but she is going out of her way to make her sister miserable and her younger brother. she has been a problematic child. She brings up unhappy memories of her childhood and blames us for everything that has ever went wrong in our lives. We lost a child aged 6 to a brain stem tumor when she was a baby. I don't know. We are hurting right now do we just tell her goodbye?.....

Is this even normal behavior?
I am facing a severe problem of a former co-worker, boss who is stalking me everywhere I go, infiltrating every work place or residence I move to, snooping into my private life, friends, email, phone, etc and poisoning folks around me? I have even moved to a different city but it never stops. I am not paranoid or delusional, this is real and it is a very serious and debilitating problem since I am single, ordinary person, 49 year old female and this is powerful, wealthy infuential man. I regret the day I came into contact with this individual.
Anyone had a similar situation and found help or a solution?

I work as a Healthcare assistant at my local hospital. I have known an old lady for quite some time. she has been in hospital for about 6 months. We were quite close and last Tuesday she told me that she wouldn't be here for much longer. She thanked me for everything I had done and told me she would keep in touch.I thought she meant she was going home. Well yesterday I went to work and one of the doctors told me she had died. I was freaked out that she knew she was dying and also upset that she had gone. She left me a note saying she would contact me if she could through a medium and look after me. She was a big believer in this as I am. I am booked to see Colin Fry soon and am scared now. I feel spooked by the whole thing and couldn't sleep last night. Please help.

Seventeen recently said that many people have gone emo and that we all think it's no big deal to go to a therapist or whatever. They say like preps are dressing darker and all that. I'm just wondering. I went to a therapist and am clinically depressed (I have disthymia(?sp) it's a mild case of depression) but I never thought it was cool to go. In fact, I hated going and stopped. I even acted all happy and dressed in bright colors instead of black but now it's all so popular. I think it's just stupid people want to be sad and dark and everything. I hate being sad and depressed and I write everyday that I want to be happy. Do you agree that a lot of people have gone emo and everything and is it right? All they're doing is acting. They're posers. Who agrees and am I right to be saying all this stuff?

I 'm referring to the time in your life. How far back would you go? One second? One Day, One Month, One Year, One Decade, Back to the womb? How far back would you go, before moving forward in real time again? Why?

Where are the philosophers on here? The thinkers? Come on guys, no more BS answers, or spam. Serious thought. People in general, make about 1000000 decisions a day, everything from what to eat, drink, where to work, what to wear, everything, so therefore they make the same snap assumption/judgements when they see others as well.

So why is it that people instead of being friendly towards one another, are VERY distrustful, competitive, envious of those that have more, conniving, and hard to categorize because they're so strange?

I mean, yes okay, before anyone critizises me for making broad generalizations, I know that there are good people, and normal people, but there are also the types I just described.

Is it human nature to be self-conscious, self-aware, and put self first above everyone else?

It seems like humans have HUGE ego problems, and everything revolves around the self, status, money, pride, looks, sex.

Why are "nerds" so unpopular? Human Nature. they want

Hi,
I'm a 15 year old girl, incase that is of any worth...
I have EXTREMELY vivid dreams, and most of the time I have hardly any trouble remembering them (I know alot of people do). The first lucid dream I remember having was when I was about five or six years old, and have had many since then. But the concepts, plots, people, scenery, etc. that I fabricate in my dreams blows me away! I "create" people in my dreams that are like no one I know... looks, personality, everything...I even grow attached to those people, and find myself sad when I wake, that they don't exist out of my mind, lol. In a recent dream I actually played someone else (another person nothing like anyone I know), and some of my dreams actually have plots/twists like a movie...Another example ..The other night in a dream I heard this song (not one I've heard before) it had a melody, lyrics, everything....
SO, what are your thought about all this?
Thanks for your time! :)

I usually have strong anxiety when I don't do something that I wanted to. And I don't mean not being able to go to a party. Like, if I wanted to read something on a digital billboard and the billboard changed, I'll get heavy anxiety and it'll bother me for a very long time. Are there any things I can do to suppress this feeling?

why do i often feel being disliked or being talked bad about?

see, i'm brought up being constantly told i'm wrong in many ways. i'm just a modernist living in a modern world, when my family stays with their traditional belief.

in elementary sch, i was outcasted only because i was minding my own business living my childhood when my peers are striving to be some big kids.

in high sch, i paled under comparison, being the least attractive of the four sch belles.

in college, i hung out one of the cutest guy in my batch invited rumors. i was told, some even had a private session to b*tch about how i'm such a temptress to my buddy when there's nothing beyond frdship btwn us.

at work, some co-workers that turned frdz throw cutting remarks at me juz cos they think me taking away their attention. or some female bosses whom are more subjective often hv prejudices against me.

apart frm all that, i'm often affected by passing comments or immediate reactions. y?
