don't think I'm nuts, okay?
go away from wherever you are, and take a walk. while you are walking, really NOTICE everything that's going on around you. only think about that. things like "what a nice flower bed", or a beautiful old tree. try to engage all your senses, listen to the birds, smell the flowers, see the buildings, feel the texture of tree bark, or a stone, or how the road feels under your feet. the idea is that you are completely focused on taking this walk. it has all your thoughts, and all your attention.
breathe deeply (you knew that was coming eventually, didn't you?). but if you can do these things, and while you're walking if you start to think about what has made you angry again, try to "catch yourself" and notice something around you. I have found this helpful

Once when I was on the verge of striking my mate during an argument I deliberately lay on the floor on my back. This is a very passive position, and thanks to this the anger passed enough for me to deal with it.

Beat the stuffing out of your pillow.
Or to be less violent, run. Run like Forrest Gump

Exercise always helps...if it's really bad chocolate might help. Do something that you enjoy doing.
