I am very very sick. I am very sensitive, and have a hard time dealing with horrible things happening to other people. I read a story a little while ago about what happened to Christopher Barrios the kintergarder that was abducted. I now can't sleep want to throw up and cry, and feel helpless because I can't do anything to change what happened to him. I really want to rid the world of horrible people but know it is impossible. What can I do to make a difference, to keep make the world safer for everyone?

Why do we always forget things?

How do you prevent forgeting something, formulas, shapes ect.

I have been doing problems a lot!! after a couple months I forgot to do the problems, and it sometimes come to memory.

Why do we forget, when we have been practicing doing the same stuff over.

Is it the best way to not forget is to live through ecperiences???

Why do we forget things?

It's just a word until it is put into action. Such a simple thing can destroy even the strongest of friendships, loves, and bonds that connect all of us and make us human. But doesn't the capability to betray also make us human? Does the fact that we are human and can make such mistakes excuse our actions?

How is it that we can act out of selfish desires and not even consider everyone around us, whether it affects them or not?

There are so many unanswered questions floating around in my head. Most are about me, but the rest focus on the people closest to me. Have they made the right choices? Where do I fit in to all of this?

It's weird to feel so lost for so long and think you've found your way just to have everything ripped out from underneath you. And then you realize, you've always been lost, you just thought you found the path, but it was only a shadow.

As I lay in Future Park earlier today, I felt as if the whole world was looking down upon me and judging me. What is she doing with her life? Why can't she see in the dark like so many of us pretend to do? Then I answer back in my head, I'm just trying to live. I'm trying to make it through each day without giving up. I don't want to pretend because then I might actually start to believe I can see where I'm going.

The sun is filtered by the branches of a tree, making awkward shadows that dance across my face in the wind. I look up at the sky and almost start to cry like my best friend had been doing for hours. Like I had been for hours. Like I wanted to so badly. But I held my tears in because I had to be strong. I had to be strong for everyone. They need me. They count on me to be there for them when I can't even be there for myself, and yet I do it anyway because if I don't, then who will?

Does anyone else ever act completely different from whats going on in their head all the time? At school my guidance counselor comes up to me sometimes and wants to talk and in my head im like go away you annoying old bag but outwardly im polite to him. Then yesterday someone was like come play hacky sack with us and since he insisted i was like well ok i guess but inside i was like **** you for bothering me i dont really wanna. Then I had to do service hours and the lady at the retard camp was like o thank you so much and i said thank you but in my head i thought shut up i dont care i hate your retarded *** kid and im only here because i need service hours.

Usually when I have a dream, its not a good one. But lately, I've been having these creeeeepy dreams where I come extremely close to death. For ex...In one of my dreams, a man shot a gun at my head and when the bullet reached my head, I actually felt the pressure of the bullet, but then I woke up. And in another one of my dreams, a man was about to kill me with a knife. When the knife came to my neck, I could, once again, feel the pressure of the knife, but I woke up before I could die.
I have had many others dreams like this.....
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!??

It was 1970, in the waning days of officially sanctioned segregation — of separate and, as Diehl would learn, decidedly unequal schooling.

Diehl, now a professor of English at the University of Iowa, describes her experiences teaching in the rural South in a new book, Dream Not of Other Worlds: Teaching in a Segregated Elementary School, 1970.

It was here, in a school that the county neglected to provide with textbooks, that Diehl learned firsthand the damaging effects that institutional racism and Jim Crow politics would have on her young charges.

She soon discovered that she was learning more from her students than they had the chance to learn from her.

Diehl and Matilda Beauford, one of her former students, speak with Scott Simon about their days in Louisa County, and the legacy of segregation.

So I overthink things waaaaay to much. I sit down and spave out and think about everything. What Ill be doing the next day, what Ill be doing three weeks from now, what Ill watch on tv the next day, who I'm going to talk with tomorrow. I mean I sometimes even go over possible conversations in my head with people I'm going to talk with?! Its never really bothered me all that much actually, but lately it has. See this girl I like I asked out and she kinda shut me down. I was told by everyone who knows me that I just overthink things waaay to much, and I just need to start going with the flow. I just wish I could... I just cant help... thinking lol about everything. Once I thought sooo much I felt my head would explode, so in about 15 minutes I sat down and typed out 2 pages in 12 point font just about me, things going on around me. What I plan on doing everything! I want to stop it. I don't want to be the guy whos 25 and never has had a girlfriend because he overthinks things too much.

Especially family members.
Perhaps in the next life, they would be more affectionate, forgiving, and would be understanding, and not so judgmental.

and hurt or decieve us. We still care about them?? Why do we still think about the good qualities and forget or forgive what they did or the bad qualities about them. I am talking about someone that you cared for and knew...not a stranger, because thats easy to realize. Why is it hard for a person to get over someone who did him/her wrong.?? I am asking from a pschological point of view, why do good people forgive those who abuse or betray them...knowing very well they don't deserve it?

What makes you happy (happiness, not mere pleasure)?
And have you ever been part of a moment of camaraderie, celebration, and joy, when it seems all is good, and you wished that the moment would last forever? Those of you that have should know what I mean.

I work at this place and once or twice my cousin came inside the store, suddenly after she left the employees said how she and I looked as if we were sisters. This came as a sudden shock because no one has ever said we looked similair facial wise. I began to think this was something denigrating. The causasians and african american employees were being extremely stereotypical .First of all, my cousin and my face shapes, eye size and shape, nose shape, mouth, hair style, body type are vastly different. What do you think about this?
