Relaxation is different from person to person. What stresses one person may be a ustressor/good thing for someone else.

To live a relaxed life a person needs to decide it is going to happen, set goals and time lines. Each day the person has to let go after work and find time for themself and fun.

When a person feels stress, they need to learn to recognize it and learn, for them, the best way to relax.

Our lifestyle is a fast paced, multi activity day with high tech "stuff" to make it easier and give us more time for more stuff. A relaxed life would be to KISS, keep it simple "stupid" and limit those things that stress and increase those things that are fun and pleasurable.

Every day set a specific "me" time on the schedule. Except for an emergency (life and death situation) do not let go of the me time. This could be a walk, sitting and watching the sun set or rise, a long bubble bath, going to the gym, yoga, whatever, as long as when the time is up (and don't use a timer) you feel good and let go of the cares of your life.
