What makes you happy (happiness, not mere pleasure)?
And have you ever been part of a moment of camaraderie, celebration, and joy, when it seems all is good, and you wished that the moment would last forever? Those of you that have should know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean, and after things end you feel lost, you feel different even though the end was expected,

a moment of pure happiness came out of the school play, I helped construct and paint sets, I didn't think much of it until the play was actually put on, it was so much fun behind the stage watching everyone do their thing and knowing I was doing mine and that was where I wanted to be, and the other people in the crew made it great, we would dance backstage to the music of Grease, and after the cast took their bows the curtains opened up to the crew on top of one of the sets dancing. I didn't know many of the people well, but the time spent couldn't have been better, we really worked together to get things done, if it wasn't for our group the play wouldn't be what it was

I have had so many moments like that. I try and pay attention to the music playing or what I can smell. That way I will be triggered to remember that wonderful moment every time I hear that song or smell that smell.

As far as what brings me joy. So many things but I would have to say my children bring me the most joy. By the way, when the doctor was delivering my first child "Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys" was playing on the radio. When I was in the limo from my wedding to the reception "Pretty Woman" was on the radio. I could list my entire life in songs and smells. Not sure if that is odd, but it works for me.

Nothing at this moment because my life is routine.

But looking at the past 1) Christmas, Halloween and Easter 2) receiving awards at school 3) getting accepted to universities 4) getting elected to school office 5) getting hired for desirable jobs 6) buying a house 7) giving birth 8) skiing and scuba diving 9) having a boyfriend

In short, it looks like when I add new things to my life, I feel joy.

What brings me joy is being around my family; I mean all of my family, like at family reunions. I wish that those times could last forever!
