Who has watched the movie "The Secret"? Its based on the law of attraction that what you perceive you create in your life.

I've noticed some people with a lot of points who answer a lot of questions, have yet to ask one of their own. Why might they do that? I would think that they would want to be intellectually curious on topics that interest them.

what should i do, the first horn is a good friend of mine and she is always comming up with excuses when she cant play. when ever somthing is cut to one part she can never play it, she will sit there an learn it. what is your advice?

Every night for the past week I've been having a dream (or nightmare rather) where my boyfriend has been cheating on me with different girls. I know there are some books that explain why your having certain dreams, like it's some pshycological thing. And I was just wondering if anyone knew what it meant or if anyone had a book that told what it meant. I know my dream is not trying to tell me something, or hint anything to me, because I dont believe in that witch craft, voodoo, or mythological sorta stuff. I just heard it is pshycological.

are there any adverse effects of LSD? because i have not been able to find any. school and other anti-drug corporations, instead of listing the dangers of LSD, simply say: "it's bad for you". LSD has a 50% success rate for the treatment/cure of alcohol addiction (compared to 10% success rate with AA) and also (according to a study done when LSD was legal), a majority of those who took it claimed to have experienced more positive, happier cognitive shifts. many people (such as the man who thought up the double helix structure of DNA) came up with their ideas while under the influence of LSD. furthermore, LSD is not addictive, has a rapid tolerance build up (keeping people from constantly taking it), and has caused very few deaths. plus, the negative side effects are no worse than a prescription drug: can cause damage to infants during pregnancy and 1 in 500 cases it may cause temporary drug induced psychosis.

still: don't the positives outweigh the (few) risks?

I am 20 years old. I have a problem with people getting drunk, partly because I don't like alcohol and partly because my family had trouble with alcohol years ago. I am worried about these people wrecking there lifes because of alcohol.

I hate nightclubs, they are too loud and I am against drugs and women making out in public.

Due to these views I have no mates, they all love the things I hate and we have grown apart.

I don't know how to move forward without the issue of alcohol coming up again.

When I am getting close to a women I try to destroy it for myself, partly because I get nervous and I hate feeling like that and partly because she proberly goes clubbing with her mates. I also have issues with trust.

I want to get a well paid job but I have trouble with learning and I lack motavation.

The people I am going to work with are going to be bottom of the barrel and I know my ego and political views will cause trouble trouble between us.

Anyone got any advice?

A person that I know, has tried everything that he can think of to help him with his depression. He has done the psychotherapy, anti-depressants and has even gone to the extent of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)...but nothing has worked. He's basically tired of trying...and the doctors have basically told him that theres nothing else that they can do for him. Does anyone else have any ides that may help? Even if it means something from another country? Help please...he's basically at the end of his rope...he's tried a couple of times to commit suicide...just because he's so fed up with it. Any serious suggestions would be great!

Just reading re importance (and impotence, if you take into account answer manipulation) of psychometric testing in job interviews and saw that question "do you ever pick your nose in private?" could be asked. Not being one who would do such a thing at the traffic lights, unlike your average 17-95 year old male, I am getting a prickly heat rash already at the thought of this being sprung on me sometime. Being averse to answering this question directly, I would point out that I am one of those who freezes and blushes when the mall security staff face anywhere within my peripheral vision and so would greatly appreciate if exploring your snotbox....I...I mean proboscis!...has any unwarrented connotations.

they scare us and tell us "don't do this, don't do that" "don't eat this, don't eat that because it's bad for you" etc. Why are we so obsessed with preventing all deaths? Why can't we accept that death is inevitable and that it's part of our existence that we have no control off?

Now don't get upset but if you look at all the top positions in life namely politics, CEOs of top organisations etc. they are usually men not women. Also if you look at the top chess players there is only one women in the top 10 (why isn't a women ever no 1 after all it's brain power not muscle power). Let me know your views on this subject.
