By facing your fears. You can't overcome your fears if you don't face them. You'll feel a whole lot better if you face them and the more you face them, the less afraid you'll be. Good lucc. =D

Fear is just an illusion, like a paper thin wall you can walk straight through. Do it and each time it will get easier. x
Also live in the moment, there is no fear there, you safe right now at this moment. When you start projecting to the future or back in the past thats when fear steps in. x

There are many kinds of fear.
You need to be more specific. Do you fear people, death, the unknown, that something might happen to you?
Psychology is no answer coz they study rats and say that as we are animals without a soul, we act/react like them.
As you can see by yourself you are under an emotional condition; may be it is a reasonable fear (like fearing snakes if one lives in a tropical forest) or an irrational one - like the fear of the unknown. If it didn't happen one doesn't know how dangerous, or better, how real the danger is. We are emotional beings and emotions belong to the spiritual world. The best you could do would be to talk to a Dianetiocs Auditor.
They are very good professionals. I met some in the past and got real good help in two ocasions I was under severe stress; they were pretty good; I am very thakful to both of them.
And they follow a veeery strict code, in ethics and in professionalism.
Dianetics addresses the mind (not the brain), regarding past incidents in any area of one's life.
Wish you be ok soon. Living like you are living right now is not living at all, at all, at all.
I do understand how you feel.

For a practical solution:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) will give you techniques and coping strategies to deal with your anxiety problem. Have a search online, you'll find both detailed explanations of CBT as well as support forums for people with anxiety issues.
That's if you can afford to pay. If you can't, there are self help books and the NHS waiting list, which as always is long.
Good luck.

Fear is the extreme opposite of love, so if you just love more, fear will cease to exist. Remember all that is emotional in us comes by choice and fear is nothing but an emotion. I can go on and on but I hope that does it for now.

Get out of there!! If your life makes you feel fearful, then change it. Anxiety and depression are close cousins and change is a good remedy for both. Our natural instinct is to fight or flight, so you either have to face up to your fears and try to conquer them or just run away. Either is perfectly respectable, sometimes walking away from a situation takes as much courage as facing it down. Good luck

I have found the best way to overcome a fear is to face it. This is extremely difficult. You have to force yourself to do it. I used to be extremely afraid of heights. I couldn't even go down and escalator. I would almost pee my pants at the thought. I gradually worked my way up to going up an escalator. I then started going up and down flights of stairs, and ladders. Now I am still a little afraid of heights, my heart races when I am going down an escalator, but I am actually able to do it. I just refuse to let a fear hold me back in life.

Fear is thinking backwards. There is no fear in the world. Everything is peace. The world is a gift to you. Enjoy and use this gift to the best of your ability.
