I'm not sure why, but I know it's interfering. Generally speaking, I am a motivated, down to earth, problem solving type of person. Lately, however, about since the holidays or so, I've gotten so un-motivated it's not even funny. It's dragging on long enough that it's starting to worry me. Lack of motivation has never been much of a problem for me, and while it seems simple at first passing glance (just buckle down and get you crap done), it's an unbelievable impediment. I just got a full time job, I'm approaching a major milestone in my college education (not graduation, but let's say about the mid-way point), and I'm living on my own. I'm having trouble concentrating at work, falling behind on paperwork, filing is piling up. My classes aren't going so well either.. I have a B in one (Not a great grade for me), and currently a D in the other. I've spoken with my professor, I can pull the D up to an A, I'm just having trouble getting myself to just study. How have you dealt with this?

Lately I keep having dreams of tsunamis. They are very realistic and I usually wake up in a panic. I had one dream that I was attending a wedding on a cruise ship. All of the sudden the room we were in became flushed with water that kept getting deeper. I somehow knew what was happening and shouted "Tsunami". However, no one panicked everyone just continued with what they were doing as if nothing was happening. Then, another night, I dreamt that I was sitting on a beach at night and all of the sudden in the distance I saw a HUGE, I'm talking 200 or more feet high, black wall coming toward me. OHHHH MY GOSH!!! Freaky! I have these dreams alot lately. What could they mean?
I have always had a fascination with the ocean, even though it freaks me out!!

I've been musing over the christian vs physcological issues. My question is How does one know the line between what would be a spiritual problem and what would be a mental problem. ie. . A person who claims to be christian but goes to the extreme opposite of the spectrum for example promiscuity, group sex, group sex clubs, swinging etc.

I got stuck in a lift today when i was on my way down from a multi story car park to a shopping centre. It was a horrible lift and when i rang the bell and banged on the door i got no reply. After banging and ringing the bell in vain, i had to ring directory enquiries to get the number of the shopping centre so i could ring them to let me out. Eventually someone came to my rescue and opened the doors where i had to jump down because it was stuck between floors. Now i've got over it i find the whole situation quite funny.

I live in a lonely apartment with my boyfriend.
I'm sort of introverted, but I would like to have some close friends who I share common ground with, but I cannot find that. I've had to tone myself down when I hang out with new people because they all have the same things in common. Also, I'm having trouble keeping a Laverne to my Shirley, so to speak. I like helping people as much as I can, but I end up being taken advantage of or stood up.
Should I tone myself down some more and just deal with it? Would it be better for me to keep looking for other friends? OR should I just resign and be alone for the rest of my life?

I have a friend who I love alot. The problem is, when him and I are fine relationship wise, we have a GREAT time together. But there are moments when he has these mood swings, like I did something wrong, but I don't see anything that I've done wrong. And if I ask what's wrong he'll be like "nothing". But I sense it cause of his facial expression, and how he gets quiet all of a sudden. How can I confront this?

A woman met a man at the funeral of a mutual friend. They quickly realized they were soul mates, and should be together forever. Due to strange circumstances, however, they failed to exchange contact information. Nobody either one asked knew about the other. A few days later, the woman murdered the dead friend's wife. Why?

I have been having a difficult time coping about an ex. I am over him but not what he did to me. I knew this guy for two years, and he seemed so loving and caring, but he needed help or so I thought. He was depressed and told me he wanted to commit suicide and I wold him he needed help, but he only wanted my help. This was an ongoing issue and the times when he really felt that way, he would tell me if i called the police he would go thru with it. So, I felt I had no choice but to help him as best I could. Well, I found out he kept a secret that he had a child w/ aone night stand before we met. He was ashamed, so I helped him come to terms with it only for him to leave me for the monther of his child. Whats worst was he was so cold, told me never to call him again. He got caught seeing her.But now, all the suicide threats he made came rushing back, knowing how he made me feel, all the worrying, anxiety, panic attacks. He won't confront me & acts like what he did to me never happened

it started about 6 yrs ago. we had this house which had a separate garage in the back yard that was visible from our kitchen window. the dream was that i would see my mom hung in the garage. other times it was that she would get killed by someone in the kitchen. ive also had ones where she gets killed in an accident while going to work. just a couple days ago after not having any dream for 2 yrs. i had one in which she dies while going on a vacation. then today, the dream was that i remembered she had died and i broke down and then i woke up. do these dreams mean anything? i find it wierd that its always and only my mom that it happens to and its disturbing.

In a friend's handwriting, the letters are so far from each other that I always have a funny feeling when I look at it. His handwriting is neat and organized and easily legible otherwise, but there is almost a letter's space between each letter. Any ideas what it might reflect? Personality traits, etc?
