Lately I keep having dreams of tsunamis. They are very realistic and I usually wake up in a panic. I had one dream that I was attending a wedding on a cruise ship. All of the sudden the room we were in became flushed with water that kept getting deeper. I somehow knew what was happening and shouted "Tsunami". However, no one panicked everyone just continued with what they were doing as if nothing was happening. Then, another night, I dreamt that I was sitting on a beach at night and all of the sudden in the distance I saw a HUGE, I'm talking 200 or more feet high, black wall coming toward me. OHHHH MY GOSH!!! Freaky! I have these dreams alot lately. What could they mean?
I have always had a fascination with the ocean, even though it freaks me out!!

I don't know what your dream means. But here is a thought from me to you. I live in Phuket, Thailand--home of "The Tsunami". They just recently installed warning systems way out in the ocean (at least this one) that can warn people way in advance. All sorts of new stuff is now in place. And if it does come, in your dream you can come up with a dream plan to help yourself and folks around you.
Think of yourself on a sunny beach having a good time before you go to sleep.
So maybe you can sleep better thinking that there are lots of folks around you to help out if you feel overwhelmed. In life or whatever.
Hopefully a silly little story from some bored girl on the other side of the world will help your dream to turn itself around.
Sweet dreams!

I too have the same facination with the ocean. Its large and mysterious and intimdating and beautiful all at the same time. I too had the tidal wave dream. I had that dream when I lived on the beach. I researched the dream and it can mean that you are going through something uncertain or you feel out of control of your surroundings. My husband was about to be deployed overseas for six months when I had the dream. I was really stressed out and uncertain. Just relax, and try to figure out what is stressing you out.

Your probably having these dreams because lately you feel like nobody understands you, and you could be having them because your mind is trying to say that it's afraid of something and using the water to show it.
