All of a sudden? Did something happen to you? Did you drink and black out and that's all?
Now, if you can't live your life because of this, get some help.
If you're afraid but you deal and you can hang in there a little while,
I don't know the answer to that.
I'd hate to ill-advise you.
But if it ain't in your way, and you have no panic attacks, at least it's not technically diagnosable.

It's a phobia. You can become afraid of the dark or spiders or chicken soup at any age. The thing to do is to gradually work your way up to getting used to the thing you fear. Find something that bothers you some, twilight, looking out the door at night, or whatever. Do that thing until you get used to it. Then go on to something a little scarier and keep getting used to things step by step until you can walk around blindfolded in a dark alley at midnight.

it is normal i know a lot of people that are like you. all you have to do is: get used to being in the dark like in your bedroom or something, then try going outside in the dark a few times.

It depends where you live. If you're in a rough area where it's dangerous to be outside in the dark, I'd say that was normal. If you're in a relatively safe area, a nice 'burb or the country, then it's kind of weird.

...yes. fear is normal.

but i would say that the fear related experience is created by a realization which exist on your conscious or beneath your conscious.

it is also said to be normal to protect yourself by being well armed with your own and protections of others in meeting with this new fear.....

but i say...

know why those in the dark are afraid also and love them in spite of these fears....

you should see that the love recognized in meeting with the fearfull of your self and others will disperse with fears of a prejudicial nature.

so it is stay out of the dark with your fears or know what it is you are afraid of and others are afraid of....

and remember ... fear is only an impression or expression which do not recognize it self or others as loving.

boo

be well
