3 months ago i met this girl, and basically fell completely in love with her bc she is unlike anyone i know... she kinda liked me but it didn't work out and now we are with other people. i don't think i've ever been hurt the way she has hurt me and now i can't stop thinking about her. she is always on my mind. i want to forget her, to forget she exists and everything that happened and be good to my girlfriend but i can't. why can't i stop thinking about her? is it a sickness?

What would you have done? Can you make lemons out of lemonade. I think this was a great opportunity to respond to a societal problem.

She says she has always been like this, she throws things around, speaks to people in harsh and rude manner, does not show any compassion towards others (she has one 'mate', they work together very well, but if anyone else tries to join their team.. well, they quickly make new person's life miserable). We work as a small team (less than 10 of us) and we can't really divide into two. We also work in a hospital.. I'm trying to be kind and professional and understanding towards her, but it is challenging. If you know any way how to make it easier to speak to her about this please help me. I am the newest addition to the team and am unsure if I need to do anything about this. Others have tried, and failed..

1. watching someone in a piblic place

2. showing up somewhere that a person frequently visits, at the usual time that they visit

3. tracking down a person on the net

4. listening in on the person's conversations

5. observing a person's personal materials (such as books, writings, net browsing, phone calls, cigarettes, clothing style, etc.)

6. googling the person's name

7. taking note of the person's car and liscence plate

8. finding out who they are friends with and who they socialize with

9. spying on the person at work and when they go out anywhere near where you are

10. asking other people questions about the person in regards to their social/personal/work life.

... yet never speaking to them or doing anything really harmful at all. Only out of finding them interesting does the other person do this, never with the intention of ever confronting them or their things in ANY way.

I never seem to remember or retain anything... whether its important information, something I learned, names, and something as small as car keys. I literary could Ace a school exam and be very knowledgeable in the subject and then forget the entire subject a month later. Thanks

We listen to sad songs, watch sad movies especially when we are already in pain. They make us cry but we come back for more. Is there something good we find in pain?

I am seeking a change in my life, I am a very spiritual person and i spend alot of time looking into contemplating a deeper meaning. I am at this crossroads and I cant distinguish my instinct from heart and my heart from my head. I am emotionally hurt by a un expected seperation. I made bad choices, chasing after love, instead of listening to the warnings in my gut. I willingly held back out of the fray without making any choices and I am paying the price. I gave love, but I never made a choice. I am stuck in limbo.

I feel lost, confused and hurt.

I feel like I was being asked to change into something which was too good to be true and I let myself be blind to what my instincts screamed at me. I wanted to believe that love would happen and yet while I felt that I was being changed into something new, and I was scared that I would lose myself in the process.
I don't know whether I embraced life or deserted it, or just became a even bigger spectator.
I am having a crisis.
