Both of these "complexes" were created by Freud in the late 1800s.
Currently, Freudian theories are very unpopular and have little credibility in the psychology world.
While it's possible that Freud thought about his mother that way, most people do not.

No I will NOT share my dream experiences with you. But to answer your question Yes I have had dream as a kid growing up where I dreamt of my mother and one aunt in particular as well. My dreams lasted for many years. BUT NO they never went beyond that.

The dreams I've had of my dad is of him trying to hurt me, chase me, knife in hand and I was feeling very unsafe in all of them.
It's reflective of real life on an emotional and psychological level.
