I am 24 years old and have recently been involved in a relationship with a divorced older woman with 3 kids with bipolar for 1 year. Both sexual and friends. Before this relationship I was a strong, independent person who could take care of oneself. Now the relationship has ended due to the fact I told her I really liked her I was left a wreck and totally dependant on her and I was a person I didn't like. After 2 months I feel better about the situation but I am coming up with constant unanswered questions. Do I have codependency issues? Am i desperate? Am i unhappy in my life?

Does anyone have any experiences of being in a relationship with a bipolar person and falling for them hook, line and sinker?

The Ouija Board...Have your heard anything about the dangers of using one? I have heard of a few things, evil, concerning this. ( I do NOT use one, and never would) I just want to know your experiences or thoughts about this, possibly as a warning to others who think it's just a game.
ThanX

Obviously, lots of people think that Yahoo! Answers is a great way to solve problems or find answers, but is it really the best way? How many answers make a good enough selection for example?

Alternatives could include: asking your friends/family, seeking out a professional, using one of those random answer books (or websites! ;-) ), going with your gut feeling.... what else! What do you think is the best way to solve a problem? Give examples - thanks.

Do you believe in deja vu? If you don’t know deja vu is when you experience a moment in time as if you have already been there. Some people think it’s just a phenomenon and others that it’s a mix up in the brain with past and present. A mix up seems like a pretty good explanation to me but then there’s this...
I have had this three times; I will have a dream that is seemingly normal, like just a dream of a normal situation. I told people about my dream and for some reason something about it made me feel funny. Then later, from a week to a year later, I experience this dream.
I had just been giving this some thought and wanted to know what people think. So let me know!

I always here live your life to the fullest, make the most of everyday, or my favorite this is the first day of the rest of your life. BUT what does living your life to the fullest mean? Does anyone know? If people did know how to live their lives to the fullest no one would be unhappy. Sometime the things we think will make us happy don't satisfy all our needs. Of course I try to do this everyday yet I feel like there is always more I want to get out of life each day. If seems like I'm never satisfied. Does living your life to the fullest mean making money and consuming as many material goods as much as possible, spending time with family and friends as much as possible, balance or combination of these, or just going through day to day gaining wisdom so you can better answer this Yahoo question or what?

Police now use psychological profiling to help them catch criminals. But can I ask what would be the psychological profile of a prostitute. No seriously I just wonder what "type" of person could hire there body for sex with a complete stranger regardless of looks, Just for money.

I've had my apartment fumigated twice since I lived here due to finding a roach crawling around just after I moved in. My fear of this creepy bug led me to sleep at a hotel for a couple days before they came to spray. I want to be able to get over this fear so that the next time it happens, I don't want to run out of my apartment. Also, even when I spray one and it dies, I can't bring myself to do anything with it..like take it outside or throw it away. I think its got something to do w/ waking up with a roach on me when i was little. They freak me out beyond belief. Also, I'm fine when someone else is staying w/ me and I'm not alone...then I usually have them take care of it...what a baby I must sound like!

Any suggestions...do I need a therapist or just need to suck it up and face my fears already?

Thanks!

It's odd that so many women say they look for a man who "doesn't play games", but when you do play games you're much more likely to get a positive response from a woman (if your objective is to get a woman to take you seriously). Why is that?

Last year on Christmas eve I lost my son to divorce. He was taken away by his father and I have not been able to see him since because I had to move away. Before that I was a full time stay at home mom. I don't have much money, but I am working on getting a lawyer to change the custody agreement, I don't even get to see him for holidays, I can only talk to him on the phone, he's four. The only reason I lost him was because I had no money to fight my ex in court.
Until I can find a lawyer I need to help myself get out of this depression. I miss my son so much. It feels like he died. I talk to him on the phone and I can't stop crying. I cry at least 2 hours everyday, but it is usually more, especially at night. I hate myself so much for losing my son. I hate myself for not being able to fight for him. I don't have any insurance to go to therepy, and my household makes too much money for government support. I need a support group or some one proffesional to talk to. Any advice would help

I can easily lose myself in it if I want to,
But it always leaves me screaming back to the same premise;
It's just not me, but it's what I need to be.

One of my friend know this deaf guy. She told me this deaf guy have accomplish a lot of things in his life. He has travel a lot and lived in a couple countries. He was MVP for his water polo team at university. He's currently working toward master degree. He's very good looking and have awesome taste in fahion.

I was shocked to learn he consider himself unwanted and shut away by the social. Also she told me he feel so shameful about being unsuccessful with relationship inside USA. She says he has told her he feel more at home in Europe than USA due to how they treat him. Also he seems very paranoid around anyone showing any interest in him and spent most of his time by himself.

Is this normal in deaf people? Is he like this because he's deaf?

I'm becoming legitimately concerned for him, out of love.

My high schooler brother is addicted to World of Warcraft. He's played the game for the past couple years, but before that, he's played Everquest for many years. Even before that, he's had a big affinity for video games.

He plays the game so much. We've had conversations about the futulity of the game and he agrees with me, but he still continues to play it.

I feel that he's using it as a standby for a real social life. He has a group of buddies that accept him hanging out with them in school, but he tells me that he doesn't care about really befriending anyone at school, even the people who play also World of Warcraft.

He has a high IQ and could be doing very well in school, but he's either getting bad grades or just coasting with easy classes/study halls filling his schedule.
