Life is too short. SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Up to this point, I've been psychologically healthy enough to not be a perfectionist. I have high standards, but I don't waste time doing things that don't matter perfectly.

It seems like you have to be perfect to compete these days. Have had perfect grades ten years ago, had all the right career choices and companies, know all the right people, and do and say all the right things.

Hello? sorry, I'm not that shallow, but I have to eat too.

So I almost wonder if it wouldn't be worth changing my personality and becoming a psychologically crippled perfectionist. At least with all the money I'd make, I'd be able to afford therapy.

I recently found out (on my own, no one told me) that my bro want's to pull out his eyebrows. I don't understand, what is this about? I do know my mother is worried about it, so i don't understand. With things that concerned her she wrote next to the fact the i cut (different story though). So, apparently it is a big thing. I don't know which of my bros it is, though i suspect it is my youngest cause he is the one seeing a counselor right now and is the one w/ some big issues. He is like 8 right now. I don't understand why he would be doing this, what is the psychology backing for this, is he insecure, punishing himself, what? I do know that he has some sever phobia things (terrified of floods, earthquakes, natural disasters), he also has self confidence issues i think, and for his age he is especially whinny and very very annoying. anyways, what's w/ the eyebrow thing? Any thoughts?

I walked in and caught my husband and best friend butt naked in between the sheets. I have stayed for 2 years with him for our 2 small kids sake but I have not been able to trust him or fall back in love with him. He is a good dad but I had always heard he ran around on me in high school and I swore if I ever caught him I would leave. We are 25 years old now shouldn't he have known better??

It seem that almost everything you do, you are instructed at a very young age, child, youth, teenager, young adult, etc. by peers, family, teachers, police, etc. to be polite, kind, show respect.

Regarding the law, i think for the most part, the laws are simple and straight forward. dont steal, dont punch, etc. I have no problem with those.

But what i have found with society, is that being polite, land you at the back of the line for just about anything. If you are aggressive, rude, loud, etc. that will get you what you want with the cell phone operator, will get you out of a parking ticket in court, will keep people from cutting in front of you in line.

People that dont do this, end up paying full charges, at the back of the line, and let people cut in front of them, and in general being taken advantage of.

Any opinions on this?

Why do so many people seem to be more able to form an emotional connection to strangers in cyberspace than to real people they meet or work with etc. Why are we more willing to open ourselves up online?

Nobody looks at you weird if you say you have heart disease, but anytime I tell a doctor or somebody else I have panic attacks and depression they look at me like I'm going to go on an axe murdering spree or something. You would think that with medical knowledge widely available to anyone who looks that people would realize that mental illness doesn't equal serial killer.

A few weeks ago, I got into a car accident while parking. I hit a car while trying to park because the space wasn't big enough for my car and I had poor judgement. The parking lot is usually full and you must compete for a parking space. Well, since the accident I have been unable to park. It's like I completely forgot how to park. Today there was a large parking space open and I didn't know how to park in it. I had to reverse 4 times until I gave up and moved on to the next parking spot because people were beeping at me. I feel so embarrassed, what is wrong with me? I used to be able to park and now I can't. Please help. Serious answers only please.

I'd like to start talking to a shrink, (I've wanted to for years) but I'm a college student so I have no money to spend (and I'd really rather not see one of the school's shrinks). So, If your into psychoanalysis and enjoy a challange, maybe we could do an email thing or you know whatever. Sooooo...

I am 20 years old, i have been with my bf for about 1yr/6mths now. My first love and i still love him and care for
him ALOT!!!. Thing is, we had many problems and when i say many i mean MANY! He cheated on me once in our first month
.. i almost did many months after that (like 6 months or so) but stopped cuz i am always faithfull and told him everything.
then couple months ago, he left me to someone i knew in highschool and saw that he worked at wawa and i introduced them. left me for 1 month.. In that month i cried, and told him that i feel i have to move on cuz hope seems to be fading away. He said to give him time to break it off with this guy. Time was fading and i met someone. then he finally wanted me back and i took him back.. Now i have been with him since that day.

make it worse, he only had one job and held for a lil over a month and i try to push but hes way too picky about where he works...

if he helped with money things would probly be better.

any help

At some point you need to stop the car. You point your toe just as far forward as you can, but the pedal is just too far away and you can't find it with your foot. You don't actually crash, but you just keep needing to stop and don't know why you haven't actually crashed yet.

Anyone besides me ever get that type of dream? I've had it many times...you?
