Yes, regular excercise stimulates endorphins which has a calming effect. If you don't like excercise, stretching and yoga can create a feeling of well being.

When your not in a bad mood, think of all the things that bring a smile to your face or that make you feel good. Write them down and keep it with you. When the bad mood hits, break out this this and use it to help you. You should also meditate and exercise regularly and stay away from processed foods. Eat healthy whole foods.

You may also want to do a little self research to find out what is the cause of your bad moods. Go to the source and fix it from there, use the other things to help give you relief until you can find the source. Good luck!!!

Well, my mother use to always find ways to make a bad mood leave you or rather me when I was little or just younger, she had a beautiful smile and not only that she had a nice sense of humor, she could always find the silver lining in any dark cloud...she's gone now but, what I do is look at my children and remember how my mom would tell me that while I am all down and out there is someone some where that has it a lot worst than I and then I see the eyes of my girls and now that it will get better, it has to because I am the master of my fate, does this help you any? I honestly hope so............

For myself the key is know that im in a bad mood. After that i make an effort to not show that mood to any one i come into contact with. Just remember your smile or good manners could make a difference to someone elses day. Eventually you will loose the mood at some point in the day all because you were nice to others...

Believe it or not, meditation is a really good way to put a bad mood into check. Although, there are times when meditation is not condusive...such as in the workplace or when you are interacting with others that are placing you or have placed you in a bad mood. Knowing that you are in a bad mood (sometimes we just react and let our emotions rule us) is a good first step. Try taking a step back. Do something else. Even if its taking some personal time at work. Taking a 10 min break and just spending some quiet time to undarken yourself. Drinking some water...stretching.

Tell yourself positive things...try to look at the happier side of the situation...work out or go for a walk...meditation and yoga is good too.

Basically kick yourself out of the bad mood.

But i must say it is easier said than done.........when i am in a bad mood....it usually manages me. Sad but true! I am working on this one too.

I like the answer "work out" physical activity is a good way to blow off some steam. Another way is to try to find a reason for your bad mood, and then figure out a way to alter your perspective on that situation.

Let yourself be in that mood for awhile, and set an alarm. When that alarm goes off, if you haven't thought of a good reason to stay mad, then shake it off and move on with your life.

I read in a magazine to imagine yourself surrounded by blooming roses. I'm not sure if it will work, but it's simple to do.
